The hotel is bang centre of liverpool, everything within walking distance, and all the best places, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy, the baths massive, it was a beautiful day so the roof top bar was well worth it, although most drinks are in cans service was great as was the view.
There is nothing not to like about the shankley

Great location and excellent value for money. Staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfy.

Great vibe for hen party , quirky rooms
On checking out at 11 , only one small lift , so queue for lift , and mass of people going downstairs with suitcases.
Confusion re food . Bar staff say no food at 3:30 pm . Reception staff say there is . Felt bar staff were reluctant to hand menu out

Amazing value for big parties (hen do) there was 15 of us and everyone said how comfy the beds where, air con was amazing with it being on and off with the clammy weather. Just enough to have the best start and end to your big party. Would definitely stay again with larger groups of people! Atmosphere was great!
