Lovely property. Clean and inviting
Shame some of the guests deemed it to be running up and down corridors and jump off beds late into the night. Parents of said children too busy to ensure their children were respectful of others

We’ve now stayed at the shankly a couple times and we love it here. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are always supremely comfortable.
My only issue was that the room was situated next to the lift which caused a lot of noise from the lift itself at all hours of the night. Regardless we’ve rebooked as we still adore this hotel

Love how close it is to the train station and the centre of Liverpool.
Staff are very welcoming.
Breakfast is great and staff were amazing.
When we dropped our luggage off we were upgraded to a bigger room and on check in the changed it.
Some parts of the hotel are looking tired and in need of upgrading.

The staff were very helpful in trying to help us. The hotel is for Hens and Stag's only in our opinion.It's not a couples hotel. We got our refund which was very decent for the hotel.
We had a room booked on the second floor. We got to the room and it wasn't pretty. The room needed updating, the beds looked old, the Air-conditioning didn't work and one of the windows wouldn't open and it was 25° that day. The room was like a sauna as the sun was beaming straight in the window. There was no telephone in the room to call reception. My wife went down to reception to ask someone to fix the Air-conditioning or to move us to another room but there were no other rooms available. The maintenance man came up to look at it and he couldn't fix it, so he went down to tell the manager. The manager came up and told us there was nothing she could do as all the rooms were booked up (which was fair) she did tell us she would bring up some fans and for us to shut the bedroom curtains to keep the sun out. But we were so disappointed with the condition of the room we asked for a refund which they duly obliged.

Location, room, lovely friendly staff lovely party atmosphere lovely lady in dining room called Christine couldn't do enough for us
The price of the brunch was extortionate especially for me as l don't drink (although they very kindly let me have coffee instead of alcohol and the food was actually delicious, quality and beautifully presented with tiny cakes and sandwiches and delicious warm scones)

As a group we slated stay here we couldn’t fault it
The room was absolutely red hot and the aircon wasn’t working great but the hotel staff brilliant and brung us a aircon machine up to the room
