Great location easy free parking Lovely foyer,easy check in staff friendly and helpful The room was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable We ate at the restaurant on site ,good choices and lovely food and good value for money. The bar on site was perfect,happy.hour very welcome ,great cocktails. Lovely breakfast,plenty of choice ,slight niggle some items had run out despite being early in service. Loved the cruise ship feel running through the hotel.
The ony thing to lower our score is when we went to shower it wasn't working ,shower hose was loose and threaded so wouldn't work

Ease of check in. Comfy room at great prices. Breakfast was delicious.
Only the nice lady in the train station putting out calls for trains, but that stopped at a reasonable time.

Comfortable bed, spacious room with plenty of storage. Decent buffet breakfast Location is excellent for all key attractions, shopping, eating etc
Noise. Sadly, the hotel was designed with a fully integrated extraction system that "hums / throbs" continually, night and day. The sound is loud enough so as to make sleeping very difficult. We were moved on our second night with an upgrade, a gesture we did appreciate, unfortunately this room was just as noisy. I feel sorry for the staff as there is nothing they can do to alleviate this problem. Clearly many visitors are able to cope with the sound, so if you are not troubled by a bit of constant noise then The Liner is a decent choice, just not for me.

This hotel is situated right beside the main line railway station - Liverpool Lime Street. It also has a car park beside it. It is somewhat unprepossessing from the outside, but once inside it is beautifully furnished and extremely welcoming. Our room was a good size, and everything worked properly. Breakfast is serves in a good sized dining room, with enough space between the tables. It is a good idea to avoid the busiest times. The choice was good, and the cooked food hot and regularly replenished. The staff here are helpful an knowledgeable. We were return visitors, and have no hesitation in again recommending The Liner for a few days in fabulous Liverpool.
The step over the bath to use the shower was a bit of a challenge for my husband. He would have appreciated a grab rail to hold on to, but the fitted sink was fortunately strong enough to help him balance!
