We have stayed at The Liner many times and have always found it to be excellent. The members of staff are very friendly, the rooms smart and comfortable, with a great breakfast. The location is within an easy walk to the city centre, and is very close to the Empire Theatre and Lime St railway station. The hotel has a car park next door, which is free for short stays and cheap for any extra hours needed.
There really was nothing we didn't like about The Liner.

It is convenient, good parking and very clean.
Due to the extreme weather we’ve been having, the corridors and rooms were extremely hot. No A/C so just a fan that blew warm air around made it uncomfortable and hard to sleep. The reception staff seemed a little abrupt with the two lots of people in front of us and came over a little unhelpful, although was fine with us.
