We loved everything about the Liner. Lovely room, lovely friendly staff, very clean, great location and great value
We couldn’t find any faults.
It was a perfect 1 night break to go to the Empire Theatre.

The location was good. Breakfast was good.
The service was terrible. We arrived to a long queue of people at the reception waiting to check in. Some staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. We paid 1 night of the city tax as the other 3 nights were booked before the tax was brought in. Our room, billed as deluxe was tiny and the only thing I could see to make it so was a coffee machine. We parked in car park, which was less than a minute walk. Next morning we went to take our car out. We got to the barrier and it said we had to pay £44 to get the car released. There were other cars behind us so we had to pay. Went to reception, apparently we need to tell them when we wanted to take our car out and would process a refund after requesting proof from our bank. We went out for the day and came back to our room to find it hadn't been cleaned or replenished. On our way out to dinner, we asked at reception to be told it was an oversight and would be done first thing. Our room was only cleaned the day before we left after I again complained and told them I wasn't happy. We had a meal in the Seven Sea restaurant, the lager given to my husband was warm, when we asked for another, it was brought back still warm. Many in charge was very rude and we waited 45 minutes for our lunch when we were the only people in there. Then to add insult to injury, when we checked out I was asked to pay 3 nights city tax, I told them I had been told that we didn't have to pay it as per another member of their team. I am disabled and the stress of this stay made me quite ill. Never again will we stay here.

Good facilities, excellent restaurant, staff very pleasant. Great location.
Hotel is adjacent to the station. If I stay again I would book a room at the front of the hotel as we had a 4:45 wake up call from the station announcer. This would not stop us staying again, just one to be aware of.

Wonderful
Friendly, helpful staff, good sized, clean room and comfortable beds. Great location, just round the corner from Lime Street Station and the Empire theatre
Not enough tea bags, coffees and milks
The room.is very hot with no air con and the windows only open a little.
They do supply a big fan, which we used. I should have put my neck fan in

Breakfast food was very good, we also appreciated the small bottle of milk/biscuits in the fridge on our arrival in room.Staff on reception very helpful -ordered a taxi for us.
Breakfast seemed a little disorganised. We had to wait for a table and then to have it set up. Some items of breakfast menu were missing or we had to wait for them to be replaced.
