Cooked breakfast was good. Location opposite Sefton Park was pleasant and convenient. Bed was comfortable.
No fruit, yoghurts or cereals laid out at breakfast, and the tea & coffee were left in a flask so not fresh.
In our bedroom only the bottom half of the large sash window opened but slid shut by itself, so had to be propped open. Wall paper hanging off in the shower room. The room faced a busy road, traffic noise all night.
No mention in the details of the steep steps up to the hotel entrance.

Nicely decorated hotel in great location opposite Sefton Park and a short walk from a good choice of restaurants. Parking in hotel grounds.
Second floor, very small, room (no lift, so struggle with suitcase).

The proximity to Sefton Park is a great feature of this hotel. The connection to the city center is convenient. There are some very good restaurants nearby as well as some pubs with a lively atmosphere. The TV was very big and the picture quality was nice.
The mattress was on the softer side which is a matter of preference. Unfortunately the old house has very thin walls which makes frisky neighbours annoying in the middle of the night.

The location was ideal for us. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good.

The location is very convenient for the bus into town and Sefton park.
The outside terrace is lovely for a pre-dinner drink.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Some of the rooms are a little tired, and are noisy because of the single glazed windows .

Wonderful
Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and adequate. Close to a beautiful park and local transport with a decent bus service into Liverpool centre. There were also local restaurants and bars within walking distance. Definitely would stay again.

Location perfect for us, out of City centre but easy to get into city using public transport or taxis.

Breakfast - would of liked to have had the option for help yourself cereals, continental selection etc - you probably could have had them but had to ask.
Overall lovely stay.
