Location is lovely
Paying normal prices this would be good value for money hotel but we were there for grand national weekend and can’t blame them for the increase in price. Just good business decision.

The electronic device at the reception desk for summoning local taxi services. The walls of the stairwell are adorned with photos and newspaper cuttings concerning the early Beatles. Excellent breakfast.

Location and comfort very good.
There was one aspect that we found annoying. This was the demand for a deposit of £25 for possible damages .( I realise that this was mentioned on the booking confirmation). There was already damage to the bathroom in that the door catch ( a bolt ) was broken and although it could be closed it could not be opened without the aid of a paper clip. In addition the door handle had at some time smashed a hole in the wall behind it. There were no towel rail or hooks on which to hang damp towls and no shelves in the shower to put soaps etc.

The breakfast was cooked to order so was very fresh and nothing was to much trouble The hotel is situated about a 10/15 minute walk from Lark Lane which is ideal for eating drinking It’s a quick walk through the lovely Sefton Park

The room was super comfortable and we got given a bigger room. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Will be going again soon.
The bathroom decoration was a bit tired but perfectly clean and usable.

Grossly overpriced for what is a BnB wirh a drinks licence. Limited parking. Noise of busy road Aigburth) through draughty single glazed window. One morning staff saw us and continued their chat for 10 mins be for taking breakfast order. Coffee jug and milk not checked, had to ask x2 .Generous Breakfast but precooked, kept warm.. First coffee pot oftge day always lukewarm. MostvStaff clothing gave poor impression,

Location.
I had a poky little room with hardly more space than the double bed. There was no proper window, just a skylight in the bathroom (that you have to stand on the loo to open or close). The 'desk' and wardrobe was tiny - no cupboards or drawers. And that cost me £179!!
