There were little things that could’ve improved the value…ensuring menus were up to date so we’re not ordering items that are not available. I had my “do not disturb” hanger on but my room was tended to - the breakfast items I was planning on eating were removed but there were half empty glasses left behind. The machines in the gym were not well-maintained and therefore not usable.

The location was good. The restaurant was nice.
The shower was open so flooded the bathroom to the point even the bedroom carpet was wet. The toilet didn't flush. The fire alarm went off at 2:30am so we were evacuated for 30minutes. I rang down for a decaf teabag and coffee sachet as there weren't any in the room and was charged £4.50 for decaf drinks.

Location , comfy bed , trendy vib
Noise , affected sleep , heating system in room hopless to hot could not turn Dow, furniture in room scuffed and tatty ,on arrival room was not ready so left bags with reception on return from shopping room was ready but bags had not been delivered to the room reception came out and expected us to carry 8 bags and luggage as been shopping , hotel gm needs to address this and go the extra mile for customer service rather than could not careless attitude , gm take a note from RCH group hotels , outside hotel was trash under windows plus they looked worn and dirty , concrete jungle outside overlooking a filthy dock with loads or rubbish it in . Parking drop off unclear as it says insurance £100 fine and no stopping hotels need a clear sign

Pleasant
Hotel was conveniently located, close to the city centre so that everything was a short walk away, but far enough out to be quiet in the evenings. We were very impressed by the restaurant food we had delivered as room service.
Room felt clean, spacious enough, and the media facilities (built-in chromecast on the TV) was much appreciated.
Check-in/check-out was smooth and quick.
Unfortunately the air-con in the room did not work which left us very hot the first night of our stay. The following morning we asked reception for it to be looked into as we left for the day, getting back in the evening it was still not working and a call to reception made it clear nothing had been done. They did offer a room change but since we were only there for one more night and we were already ready for bed, we opted against it.
This, and a couple of niggles with the room (bathroom door would not stay shut & shower would randomly spurt out water every now and again) were the only downsides to the stay

I think that the lack of parking is a major issue, the cost of £24 per day could have a discount % as if i added the £24 per day to the room rate i would have gotten an upgrade.
