Location was excellent and the staff were generally helpful and kind. My wife didn't want breakfast one morning and was offered a coffee and pastry, on the house.
The menu choice at the brasserie was a bit limited and the toilet flush in our room required the muscles of Hercules to operate.

Very clean, stylish, great location
Rooms are very dark, not great for take up etc.
No parking facilities. The carpark that is right next to the hotel is very expensive.

The location was amazing. The bar lounge area downstairs is right on the dock. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size.
The room was on the dark side because the windows were small. The blind didn’t fully cover the edges of the window, so the light woke us up early in the morning.

Location, hotel and room excellent however eating in the restaurant was a nightmare
Eating in restaurant was a nightmare the waiter spilt a half pint coke on my new Free People jacket, he threw my handbag on the floor!!!! Then walked away left it! Omg tgen tgey brought out food we didn't order! Been to other Malmaison with wonderful stays but tbh don't think I'll return to liverpool Malmaison we'll stay elsewhere

Location great. Decor great except darkness of everywhere internally.
Corridors to rooms too dark. Rooms too dark. Bathrooms too dark. Bedside lamps too dark.There should be an option for guests to improve the lighting in their room. Room service toasted sandwiches appalling. We came back from the Golf Open with 10 others & only room service food available. Toasted ham & cheese was flatter than one slice of bread served as 2 slices of cheap white bread & a very very thin slice of cheap cheese & cheap sliced ham-appalling.
Breakfast should be included in the room price.
