The location is 1.5 km from the Liverpool waterfront and Lime street station is just 1 km away. There are supermarkets (Lidl) and fast food restaurants nearby. The (dorm) rooms are spacious compared to other low budget options (e.g. in Anfield) and include shower and toilet. Beds are comfortable with clean sheets and pillows. Curtain does not fit the entire bed space, but allows at least some privacy. Wifi worked well. It is quiet most of the time. Staff is helpful and efficient. There is always someone present (24/7). The place including the shared kitchen and lounge areas is kept (very) clean.
There is no escape option, if there are loudly snoring people in the room.

Nothing. I had to leave immediately during check-in because it was dangerous to stay there.
SERIOUS SECURITY BREACH AND FRAUD ATTEMPT!
During check-in on May 26, the employee on duty took my passport and carried it away into another room out of my sight. I had to explicitly demand it back. Right after that, he demanded to write down my full bank card number and my 3-digit CVV code, lying that they "would not charge any money."
I have a video recording where this employee clearly confirms on camera that he wants to copy my card number and CVV. Recording a guest's CVV is an illegal practice and a direct threat to financial safety. Other reviews on Google show that this hostel has previously photocopied cards and stolen money from guests later. I felt completely unsafe, froze my bank card, and had to find another place to stay. Avoid this property at all costs!

Good hostel, clean bed, good shower and toilet facilities. Small kitchen for hot drinks, cooking etc. The hostel was in the centre for the nightlife, with the Flute pub next door. Yes good choice for a night if you're on a budget.
