The small upgrade and friendliness of reception staff
Could tell how short staffed the hotel was at the bar and at Breakfast. The breakfast was really really poor and staff were run off their feet. £20 for each breakfast was a disgrace

The staff were great, the location is great. The Beatles theme is great. Eric the Concierge was a great laugh and is an asset to the hotel. Very warm and welcoming
It’s very dated, there were little things that needed doing. We had a room on the top floor, it was a double, but it was 2 singles put together and a double mattress on top, the door to the balcony was hard to open, the receptionist wasn’t helpful at all when it was time to leave, we were support get a discount on the parking, but she said we couldn’t have any discount and we should have pre booked. She didn’t seem bothered.

The hotel itself is really nice. I had lunch at their restaurant and the service was excellent and food delicious. I also loved the location.
Our room did not have heat and the toilet did not flush.
