I read the reviews today, oh boy, about a place to stay in Liverpool, the Hard days night hotel, it blew the rest of them away, So I took a look, cus it was in the guide book, it really turned me on....

Nice bathroom and room ,great live music,lovely staff and great location
Toilet seat completely dislodged itself shortly after we arrived . Maintenance fixed it quickly but it should not have happened. There were no glasses for water and no plug point near a mirror for hair drying/ styling and no info about places to see and eat in the room. The main public area and bar was freezing and drafty in the evening as the hotel door was wide open and staffed with bouncers all evening. When we and many others asked for it to be closed we were refused. The manager was disinterested. We spent a lot of money in the hotel and all of the above was disappointing in a hotel of such quality.

We had greatvservice from all staff they were all excellent particulary the porter and restaaurant staff. We had dinner jn the restaurant sunday evenkng and the service and attention to detail was exceptional
There was an issue with the shower and noise from aircon tjis was dissapointingbin a 4 star hotel
