Free room upgrade to a balcony room which was great. A very large room with a very comfortable bed. We loved the Beatles themed room with great views over the Liverpool skyline and street below.
The shower had very low water pressure which was surprising as the rest of the bathroom was great. The main drawback to our experience was the woeful breakfast which was included in the hotel tariff but with no effort at all made by the hotel. The food was bland and tasteless except for packaged cereal, and the one or two serving staff were overwhelmed. The coffee machine was broken.

Now the hotel only has location and Eric who has been there for a long time and he is the heart and soul of the place.
The new staff are rude and uncaring!
After finding out they were replacing the A/C half of the hotel was so hot we couldn’t sleep. Then the next day they moved us to another room that still didn’t have any air. After 2 days all they could say was open the window instead of moving us to a room with air. This new staff didn’t care about care about their guests . Will never go back.

Had an issue with not being able to heat the room via the electronic panels by the beds. Tried calling reception, however they didn’t answer so had to get dressed and go there to discuss. Guy visited the room to investigate the issue. Upon entering the room explained that our half of the hotel had an issue with NO HEATING! He then went off to collect a mobile radiator. No apology was offered and defo no refund or compensation. Also, friends who booked direct with the hotel were offered a complimentary room upgrade at no extra cost. When I raised this they told me I couldn’t be upgraded because I booked via Booking.com!

The bed in our room was too big, the side cabinets were halfway the bed so a bit awkward getting in and out. Or just fit smaller side tables! Room 509
On website says parking 30% off but no one told us had to be done at the start of your trip. Very unclear info

Very close to Cavern Club and all shopping, pubs etc. Staff was great, breakfast excellent!!! Dinner in N64 was excellent and had the best sticky toffee pudding in my life there. Highly recommended!
