Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Great staff.
There was an issue with the air conditioning in a lot of the rooms and being summer it made our room very warm and stuffy. The staff did provide a fan but as the windows dont open the relief it provided was moderate at best.

Central location. Great bar Reception and concierge staff very friendly.
Breakfast staff at weekend Vicky and her twin sister were excellent and efficient. Fridays breakfast was a shambles. No co ordination Tables not cleaned and reset quickly , food and crockery not replenished No one taking charge Had to ask for everything Not relaxing at all. Our room was great but street side very noisy Coffee machine out of order

Rude unpleasant staff.
Zero AC, tiny plastic fan and excuses the AC was not working - I had forgotten I stayed at HDN the previous year - if I had remembered I would have NEVER gone back. I cannot begin to describe how low this hotel has sunk in recent years. When it initially opened it was fun, nice, pleasant staff - now it's like staying at an IBIS, which is unfair on IBIS staff!!

Quite disappointing that the air conditioning wasn't working in the room allocated to our CEO, definitely required especially as UK temperatures so high. Wouldn't book again for this reason, effected the main person who we have to make sure everything runs smoothly for.
