The bed was very comfortable, it was in a very central location and the bathroom was very spacious
The noise from the nightclub adjacent to our room made it near impossible to sleep until the early hours of the morning and I don’t feel like the room was worth the money

The authentic building & history was very beautiful, our room was a perfect location to access the wedding venue we attended which was sensational. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable, an excellent size bathroom Inc a deep bath.
The beds are not Queen beds they are 2 small doubles, pushed together they would be. There was no complimentary water, and only half a roll of toilet roll. I called reception and they did replace the items only after we left the room an hour later, and they did make our beds professionally despite me doing a rush job ❤️ there was also some sick stains on the curtains only seen when the curtains weren't open and backed up by a crusty step out of bed under foot where the carpet has been cleaned, nothing terribly bad that I wouldn't return I've been to worse and we didn't do breakfast looking at the reviews there's plenty of cafes around.
I don't think anything would be a problem if you ask. The wedding was absolutely fantastic everything was perfect x

Booked because there was a swimming pool. Didn't know till we got there that it cost £20 per hour to use. Didn't see any information about that.

Location was perfect and the staff were lovely.
The pool was £20 per hour per person. Utter ripoff. We complained at reception to ask why this was hotel policy and the explanation was to keep the numbers down. What about a booking system? I have never come across a hotel that charges guest extra to use the facilities. We assumed that the price was on the more expensive side because there was a pool.

Unfortunately was unable for my son to use the pool as under 16 not something highlighted at the time booking. Otherwise would have booked elsewhere.

The staff made the stay. Welcoming and attentive. they also took in to account a request I had given prior to my stay.
We received an email from booking.com saying thank you for your stay on the day we were due to arrive. This made me panic that I had booked the wrong day. Apparently its a thing that booking.com do and they are trying to sort out.
