Breakfast lovely, rooms clean the only thing I did not agree with hotel put a holding fee of £360 on my card within the free cancellation period I think this is unacceptable.

The bed was lovely and the size of the room.
Breakfast was average with little choice and very busy. There was little seating abd didn't look like the pictures. The bathroom would benefit from being freshened up.

Location
Bathroom had problems with leaking by toilet and by shower doors. We called by the hotel, during a tour, and urged to return back so that they could move us to a different room due to a power outage. No offer for compensation for our troubles. Also, getting to our room and relocated room was difficult because of the stairs - no help with our luggage from staff.

Great location, very central to Liverpool with a car park just across the road. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. A lovely touch was the birthday surprise cake provided for my brother, which we really appreciated. The only disappointment was discovering that use of the spa came at an additional cost, and had an age restriction which we hadn’t expected.

The staff were helpful
The room wasn’t the one we picked however it was along bed. The room was dirty- lamps full of dust side tables sticky and dusty/ dresser dusty / headboard think in dust and there was a leak in the bathroom. The evening meal was not good the fish was dry and the chips over dune and dry , the salmon dish was tasteless and the veg was too hard nearly raw. The breakfast however was very . The bar was under staffed it took us 49 minutes for food and drink and then another 40 minutes for a second drink.

The staff of reception were professional and somewhat friendly
Room was dirty. Carpet wass filthy., stained etc. There was a dehumidifier on kn our roo. Upon arrival....speaks volumes...roof blinds broken allowing light in. Safe was broken and we could not use. Net curtains were dirty and windows did not open. We traveled with our two children and we were placed in a separate eating area for breakfast away from people with no children jn a oartily closed off aeea. . We were not permitted to use the pool...it's only disclosed in the file tiny print upon investigation that you have to be 16+ to use the pool. Really thought Hilton standards were better...won't recommend or stay in a hilton hotel ever again...worst experience we have ever had! We are Irish and felt quite discriminated against..first time I have ever felt this way.

Disappointing
The location of the hotel was excellent.
I paid for an upgrade to a deluxe room which wasn't deluxe in anyway. Our room was not cleaned in the two days we stayed there. The room was close by to a nightclub which you could the loud music till 3am which made it impossible to sleep. When we raised these issues with the manager I was promised a refund for the uprade charge I paid to a so called deluxe room, the manager told me the refund would not show up as from the Hilton hotel which i found strange. Over 24 hours later there has still no sign of the refund.

The bar was great and enjoyed the cookie on the way in haha was a great touch
The tv remote was difficult to use, some of the buttons didn't work but it wasn't too much of an issue
