We didn't expect this hotel to have been the ACTUAL terminal of the old airport. As such, they really highlighted the space in a unique way. We really enjoyed it. Great breakfast, large room, close to the bus stop and shopping/restaurants.
The staff had communicated that the heating in the building wasn't functioning and we thought about cancelling. In the end, it wasn't even a problem at all. There was a portable heating united placed in our room, but we never needed to use it.

Staff were nice and apologized for our late check in which really shouldn't be happening at 4 star hotels.
We didn't get our room till near 4 o clock so this put us under pressure for the match and we had to take a taxi instead of the bus as bring an hour late wasn't helpful.

Good location and pleasant staff.
The central heating wasn't working in our room so we were given 2 small electric heaters. The room was freezing and the heaters made no difference. The bathroom was too cold to have a shower. We slept really badly as the electric heaters kept clicking noisily and we were really cold all night, even in bed.

The history of the listed building and the decor of the interior - very art deco in common areas and rooms - great shower & bath - double room had 2 queen beds and was spacious
Good restaurant open until a decent time - bar staff very friendly
(clean the glasses better though - my glass had someones lipstick on it)
Glad they accepted cash as well as card - some people still prefer cash
So glad not to have to pay a damage deposit - unlike the IHG Hilton - totally ridiculous hotel and card only!
Heating had a problem & our room was freezing - as a couple we were keeping warm in 1 queen bed with 2 quilts on
Staff reaction was 'out of our hands' - no offer of another room - not all rooms were affected by the heating issue.
Consequently I have a cold & cough & chest infection - still, a week later!

Big room, comfy table, nice few to some planes through the window. Cozy oldschool.
Cold tiles in the bathroom. Tolet flushing was not working very well.
And light switches are crazzy, oposite sides on where they should be.
