Wonderful
Great central location near Station, while the neighborhood can be noisy, the hotel is around a corner and rooms are to the back and thus very quiet.

Located not far from the station. Spacious and well equipped. Staff friendly.
Beds not made up as per our booking (booked for 4 but only 2 beds made up). Bedding available in the cupboard though. Some maintenance required (eg toilet roll holder not fastened well to the wall).

Close to train station and town centre
I've stayed at Adagio in Edinburgh and Liverpool didn't match it. No hairdryer, though we did get one when we requested it, mirror needed at dressing table. Used the long mirror in the passageway but nowhere to put my makeup and hair straighteners in front of mirror. Didn't feel this is the star rating stated. Had to leave very early the day before scheduled, a day early, due to train strike. We rang the week before when we realised the trains would not be running to try to rearrange to a later date. This was refused as we had already paid. We felt as it was not our fault we should have been allowed to make that change.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and uncluttered reception. Our room was comfortable and clean. The location is great, walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. No car rental needed. Would definitely stay there again.
