Perfect location, you won't get anything more central for that price Breakfast included plus discount at the bar :))) You can use any bathroom/toilet on any floor which is really helpful in the morings with all the guests staying there Lockers in every room (don't forget to bring your own lock!) Super duper friendly staff and great pub! Kitchen! So good to have and everything you need there and very spacious - pretty rare in London Hostels
No lift and lots of stairs, you will be charged for storing luggage after check out, toilets could be cleaned a bit more regular given all the people staying there Obviously noisy with Waterloo station right outside but honestly it sometimes was almost nice to have some white noise and if it got too much they supply earplugs for free (or earbuds with music does the job just as well) - was not an issue for me just something you should definitely be aware of before booking. Super weak wifi in the upper floors

It was ok
Too noisy, dont have a quiet time. People get back at around 11pm, then start packing and talking without lower their voices until 1am, then woke everybody up at 4am again by kept smashing the door and flushing their phones to look for things
There was a boy and a girl who slept next to me on the same bed.
They should behave their guests more

Very convenient location to Waterloo Station, easy to find, pub/bar downstairs. Staff very friendly and well priced
Can be noisy at night from trains as Waterloo Station is literally behind it but managed to sleep ok. More plug sockets/USB ports would be helpful. I was in an 8 bed dorm and it was difficult to find a plug socket to charge my phone

Great location and lovely staff, we loved the free breakfast and the pub quiz!
Very noisey train. It was advertised but we saw a lot of reviews saying it wasnt disruptive but you could definitely hear it and its goes 5am-12am

The hostel is easy to find and conveniently located near the Lambeth North station on the Bakerloo line. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy the room was very clean. the toilets and showers are easily accessible on every level of the hostel, meaning that no room is very far away from them. The bar discount for staying there was welcome and drinks were well priced. The free morning breakfast was a really nice touch with cereal, toast, tea, coffee, orange juice and fruit. Overall incredibly good value for money in London!
The room got quite hot at night with 4 of us in there, but the traffic and tube noise means that you can't really open the window without disturbing others. This was a trip in May and it wasn't particularly warm outside, so I imagine on a much hotter day it would be even hotter.

Wanted to say a massive thank you to Olivia. We needed to iron our shirts before our gig and she went out of her way to run home and bring us an iron AND ironing board. She saved the day!

Excellent, clean kitchen.
Good breakfast.
Lots of toliets and showers.
Location near shops and bars.
Nice staff.
5th time I have stayed.
It would really benefit from having small shelves (and ideally plug sockets) near to top bunk-beds to leave valuables in.

Friendly staff, easy check in, safe and secure premises. We booked a bedroom for two people, which was very clean and comfortable with towels provided, a kettle, drinking water and a fan. The beds were comfortable. We found the showers to be clean and hot. We enjoyed the breakfast served in the bar in the morning - toast, cereal, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. Really nice pub downstairs. Extremely handy for Waterloo trains and tube, as well as local buses, easily walkable to the South Bank, London Eye and Westminster. Fun neighbourhood in Lower Marsh, with eateries, shops, cafs etc on the doorstep is a bonus.
As it's a busy (thriving and popular) hostel, you will encounter noise from neighbouring bedrooms/dorms as well as people's comings and goings, and the trains. This didn't bother us at all, despite us being oldies compared to the other young people staying! We us d the provided earplugs and slept really well. The convenience and the other pros more than make up for it, and it's value for money and location are hard to match. We stayed two nights and on the second night it was significantly more quiet, so I guess it depends. You'll be out enjoying yourselves anyway!
