It wasn’t clean , I paid for a city view room that had a massive tree infront of the window but even if there wasn’t a tree you could not see any city just the street

Lovely, central stay in London Waterloo. Decent breakfast options although Full English buffet was missing the tomatos.
The bed was kind of uncomfortable. Probably personal preference of a harder mattress but also mattress was used quite a bit and saggy.

The location was nice and convenient for getting to the train station. The room was spacious enough. The visit was during the heat wave, and they placed flavored water in the lobby for the guests; that was nice.
The room was not clean. The hotel was a mess; the staff was short-tempered and barely polite. I understand that I visited there during a very busy week and during a heat wave, but I would expect some sort standards.
