The Location was good and it was clean and tidy. The best thing I as that they have the bag drop off policy for the customer even after they checkout of the hotel which is very helpful when u have a late train or flight but still wanna explore London but don’t wanna drag the bags everywhere.
They have a weird security deposit policy which was not stated at the time of booking and I was asked rudely by the receptionist to give the deposit as it’s the hotel policy so take it or lose the booking. The restaurant staff and couple of the morning receptionist were wonderful but one of the receptionist was highly unprofessional. Maybe they should think of that especially when he is the first one that the customers meet when they come to the hotel.

My room had a great city view. The bed was comfy and things were clean. Breakfast. The bacon, sausages and rosties were good. The pastries coffee and fruit were all good too. Only basic TV channels. Most hotels I go to have additional channels and smart TVs now.
Noise of a fan in the room. Not AC or bathroom fan. Shower temp fluctuated. Not enough sugar. No hot chocolate. Breakfast. Dry mushroom, poor scrambled egg, no fried eggs and the juice was dreadful. So watered down. Shocking.

Room was clean and pleasant. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and room was cleaned everyday.
Quite small for two people who both have large suitcases. Not much room to put any clothes and no small fridge for some cold water or milk for a tea.

Staff attention at breakfast. as well as away from the desk. Housekeeping, third floor friendly and responsive. Iron and ironing board in room.
Breakfast could have been better with real, instead of powdered eggs. Stewed tomatoes would have been nice. Rooms could have used more clothes hangers. I felt like it was designed for one night or short stay. We stayed five days and never were able to really unpack.

The location is close to Waterloo train station, only 5 minutes' walk distance which fits our needs.
The hotel is very old and lack of maintenance. The washing basin is broken, and half holes of shower head were blocked. A technician came to replace the shower head. He used the toilet at the bathroom and spread urine on the rim of toilet and floor, which made our private bathroom worse than public toilet.
