Located close to where I needed for this trip. Comfortable and clean. Great breakfast. Had conditioner and body cream - many hotels do not offer this. Decent gym
The area is not very nice especially at night. Also they have a bar but nothing offered to eat when arriving late and most kitchens are closed at restaurants (around 10pm-10:30pm). Also the staff was not very customer oriented. Not too friendly. We felt we were a nuisance rather than a hotel guest. And at the bar when I ordered a glass of wine they charged me the largest size without warning me that a “glass” was the largest amount and not a regular glass. I could not give it back. I let it go - a misunderstanding but still annoying especially again since the feeling was they were doing us a favor by answering or helping me as a guest.

Location. Very close to tourist attractions. They offered breakfast and have a bar and restaurant.
The bed linens were rather old and frayed and the mattresses were lumpy.

The location is great, just a short walk to the hop on hop off bus stop and you can get all over the city. The breakfast is fantastic and memorable, it was why I remembered it from a previous stay, and booked again.

A nice location near Waterloo station and a 10-15 minute walk from Westminster Bridge and Big Ben. Very quiet, and the air condition worked well. There are many, many good restaurants within 5-10 minute walking distance. The breakfast provided a sizeable selection of items that should please any traveler. The staff was very helpful in arranging a taxi for a trip to Heathrow.
The carpet and curtains were nearing their sell-by date. The room had a fold out sofa bed, which was nice, but using it left nearly zero remaining space in room; for the price, I would have hoped for a bit larger room.

The hotel staff are professional and helped us when I requested to shorten our two nights stay due to accident. They graciously agreed to cancel the second night, and initiated refund.

Very comfortable beds. Large buffet breakfast with huge selection of baked goods, meats, eggs, hot and cold drinks, fruits and veggies, quiche. Elevators were large and roomy.
City View room is not worth it. Hotel is a little farther away from main sites but not a problem if you can use the tube.

As a celiac, breakfast was awful.
I purchased food from supermarket across the street. I could not eat anything. Not only for celiacs but food looked awful. Packaged scrambled eggs, etc. No refrigerator. As celiac I had to buy food and could not keep it cold. Getting ice from staff was horrible. No buckets to be had. They didn’t want to give us. Finally last day they said there’s an ice machine. Why were we not told earlier. Did not have a pleasant stay unfortunately.

I absolutely loved the breakfast, it was amazing and the staff was very friendly. The location was very nice as it was close enough to be in the city but far enough to be quiet. I will stay here again next time I find myself in london
The only thing I didn't like was the shower was an open design so no door or curtain so water got all over the floor creating a slipping hazard

This trip was the first time traveling out of the United States for me and my mom. Overall, our short trip (April 15-18, 2026) was wonderful with the experiences and memories made in just a few days in London! You definitely need more time visiting London. We had a long 7-hour flight from Washington-Dulles Airport to Heathrow Airport. Both airports' staff and Virgin Atlantic flight staff were extremely helpful and pleasant! I would stay at Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo again for:
- its proximity to Waterloo Station as a transportation hub to other stations and travel to/from Heathrow Airport.
- Convenient location for performances at the Old Vic Theatre
- Free hotel breakfast included was helpful to travel budget
I booked a Queen accessible room for my mom's mobility needs after a leg injury from a fall a few years ago that has impacted her mobility at times (pain from excessive walking / long distances, stairs, etc). The accessibility bathroom in our room did not have a shower curtain for the shower (open to whole bathroom). The shower curtain is needed to keep the water for running across the whole bathroom floor. Hopefully, the hotel will see this review and install a shower curtain as water all over the floor can lead to injuries. We had to request an additional chair in the room which was booked for two people. The electric kettle in the room was leaking all over the tray while plugged up; had to ask for a new working kettle. The latch lock at the top of the room door was broken (piece missing). I was able to get this fixed because a nice maintenance man accidently came to the room the day before our last day asking if we were the ones who requested a new shower head (Wrong room- did not request a shower head). I informed him about the lock on the door, and he promptly returned minutes later and fixed it. The experience of staying in this accessibility room was as if this room isn't used often enough that someone would be aware of the condition and not checked regularly to keep it up for guests.

The property was refurbished in 2023 so everything looks chic, clean and modern. We had a nice size room with a fantastically comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning,a nice large screen television, and sound proof windows and walls. We didn’t hear a thing.!! Breakfast is included and is excellent too. it was a wonderful three nights stay.
