Good room with excellent facilities. Decent breakfast.
Mattress needs replacing, dips in the middle & pretty uncomfortable. Bed also very creaky, slightest movement is noisy!

Disappointing
The rooms were clean and reasonably well appointed. The hotel is located close to Waterloo station which is the biggest advantage.
Room had included WiFi which was helpful for work/remote meetings.
English breakfast included as part of the room booking was passable.
Hotel has a left luggage facility which is helpful for guests who may need to check out early but have late travel arrangements.
Incredibly frustrated that a Hilton Managed property asks for a £30 safety deposit on check in. It makes guests feel like they are only there to mess up the property or rooms. For a business oriented hotel that carries the Hilton label, it is a disgusting practice. A horrible and demeaning practice given the clientele that the hotel serves. The fact that this security deposit is refundable does not make things better. Treat your customers and guests with the respect they deserve rather than assume guests are checking in to damage the property.
The hotel also has a little store/shop where one can buy water, snacks. While I appreciate hotels will always charge a slight premium, this is so incredibly overpriced that it is funny. £5 for a 500ml bottle of water and even higher prices for pre-packed sandwiches etc when literally 20yards from the hotel there is a cash and carry where one can pick up drinks, snacks or any emergency toiletries or items at a normal market price. One would think this would make the hotel rethink their prices a little. Hotel management is incredibly out of touch.
Front desk staff could be better trained. Could see staff lounging around on phones, chewing gum when guests are waiting in line to check in. Nobody to assist with bags and no offer of a luggage cart in the absence of staff who can assist. Again, I understand that this may be a business hotel with an expectation of guests to self manage everything but when guests have multiple suitcases and bags, there needs to be some offer of assistance made particularly given the prices and security deposit charged.
Overall, you are paying a premium price for a budget hotel. If you are traveling for a meeting or business in central London and value the easy connectivity to tubes, trains then this hotel may be a good fit for you.
However, if you are a traveler who values service, comfort and value for money, then pass on this property.

The location was excellent. Our room was very quiet And the Water pressure was strong.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable on one side of the premium queen. It felt broken, like springs sticking up. The pillows were incredibly hard. We had just stayed at another Hampton by Hilton in Canterbury and did not have these issues so we were surprised.

It was my birthday on October 17 and the man on the desk that morning sent 2 pieces of cake, balloons, and champagne to my room when I was at breakfast! How wonderful !
The staff in the dining room were all just awesome!
The staff on the front desk were all so friendly and helpful.
And though I never saw the cleaning staff, my room was spotless when we returned every day!

Very good location in London, quiet area but right beside Old Bic.
The breakfast staff Beth and Ina! It was my son’s birthday but he was feeling sick and Beth and Ina went out of their way to make him feel special and gave us so much help in any way they could.
Lovely hearty breakfast…
We were able to get early check in and late check out which was very appreciated.
We would stay here again no problem! Highly recommend

Location and hotel, over the years have used the Hilton chain a lot.
