Another successful stay at the Maiden Oval, a quiet room located to the rear of the property, comfortable bed and clean bathroom with good sized shower cubicle, despite soaring temperatures the floor standing fan helped keep the room cooler. When I requested the room to be serviced it was and fresh towels supplied. Staff are always polite and welcoming. Ideal location for my purposes. The surrounding area is OK with decent pubs and cafes and wood fired pizza from the Collective in Kennington Park for a tasty snack was great.

Have used this hotel now for the past 5 months and every time I am pleased with the overall cleanliness, staff are friendly, polite and helpful, beds are comfortable and bathrooms are a good size with good showers, the hotel is quiet and there are plenty of local cafes and Kennington Park is ideal for a stroll after a long day. For a 3 star hotel and only wanting somewhere to sleep and base myself from the Maiden Oval ticks every box.

I had a very disappointing experience with this property. The conditions were nothing like the description. The bathroom light didn’t work, the toilet was positioned so awkwardly that it was nearly unusable, and the window couldn’t be opened because a TV was installed in the way. The room was also right next to the reception, so there was constant noise and no privacy at all. I ended up leaving right after checking in. Definitely not worth the price!

Bed and room in general were good.
The shower was blocked and overflowing with water. It was linked to a plumbing problem clearly as when the toilet was flushed, it affected the shower
I was offered any money off my stay, which was disappointing.
