Kingston Theatre Hotel is exceptionally maintained and the location is central to the heart of Hull. The staff were professional and informative when we had any questions - the scented pillow spray was a much appreciated touch! The restaurant was also very well priced and made you feel very welcome - and the quality of the food was first class, which matched the breakfast in the morning.
The street parking was a little challenging when there was a show on, but was manageable. Also - the Hotel made up for it - Hull city has a lot of maintenance work in progress which at times took the leisure out of the discovery walks.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Kingston Hotel. Not only is it in a fantastic location (perfect for where I was performing), but the convenient car parking right outside was a huge bonus.
The receptionist — I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name — was incredibly friendly, and all the restaurant staff were just as welcoming. The food was slightly on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it. I’d highly recommend the fish and chips!
Breakfast was also fantastic, and the room had everything you could need — from robes and shower gels to teas, coffees, and biscuits, which were a lovely touch.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay and I’d definitely recommend it.
Purely as constructive feedback (and nothing against the hotel itself), there were just a couple of small things. I was placed on the top floor, which was a little tricky with quite a lot of luggage and costumes to carry.
Also, the curtains in the bedroom didn’t block out the morning light very well. A blackout blind or thicker curtains would make a big difference, especially for guests hoping for a lie-in.
Other than that, I honestly couldn’t fault my stay.

Situated in a beautiful part of Hull, in the heart of the Victorian quarter overlooking a small park and opposite the Hull Kingston Theatre. Inside didn't disappoint with many of the grand features of Victorian England. Spotless and well cared for, this privately run hotel will be our new go to.

The Kingston theatre hotel is a stones throw away from the New theatre Hull making it an ideal place to stay if your visiting the theatre. Its a 10 minute walk away from the centre of Hull & all its wonderful shops. The staff are really welcoming, & nothing is too much trouble. Free parking is included with your stay as is the excellent breakfast. Ive stayed here many times & have never been let down with the cleanliness of the rooms, bedding etc. Overall a fab place to stay when visiting Hull.
