It has a proper highland hotel feel without being kitsch. The Staff were lovely. The grounds were very nice. Breakfast was perfect.

Location is fine although not a lot going on in Strathpeffer. Quiet and relaxing.
Hotel is a bit dated but its been a magnificent building in its day.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was decent. The beds were relatively comfortable. The location was nice and quiet. There was free parking.
It was impossible to get the water temperature in the shower to a comfortable warm temperature for a shower... It was either ice cold or almost burning hot. In the end, we gave up trying to shower and decided to take a bath by mixing the ice cold and super hot water in the tub.

Nice Big Hotel with many rooms in an old building. The rooms were fine. Breakfast was ok, value for money.

Meal service. Hotel itself is beautiful, but needs refurbishment.
Smoking outside front of hotel permeated front rooms. Had to close all windows….bus drivers and guests asked to less prominent smoking area?
