Wonderful
It's a convenient location with very comfortable amenities. The breakfast is well presented and the staff are welcoming.
The room I had was above the pub front door on the night of the weekly pub quiz, so that was a bit noisy. They did warn me about that at least, so I was prepared.

From check in and throughout the stay, the highest level of customer service and friendliness makes staying at Rose and Crown Stoke Newington a pleasure. From the historic building, well-appointed rooms, and the ground floor pub that provides a very satisfying breakfast and then opens to the public for the enjoyable food and drink options. The roof top terrace provides a nice space to enjoy if there's sun.

Lovely meeting the staff, who obviously take pride in running the pub and hotel. The pub is a classified property, full of charm and history. The rooms are accessed behind the bar, up stairs. If you need an elevator, this isn't the place for you. Our room was spacious and right next to a rooftop terrace. We never spent time there as we had a busy schedule, but it would have been delightful! the breakfast layout started at 7:30 am and was perfect for our needs. We will stay there again if/when the opportunity arrises!
An elevator would have been nice for luggage, but we are able bodied and negotiated the stairs with ease.

Everything was great!!
Other guests were extremely noisy and inconsiderate. Coming in late at night, slamming doors talking excessively in corridors. People only think if themselves and not if othets.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful. We were across from a huge park with deer and several historic churches. The neighborhood felt like just that. We felt we were among locals. The food in the pub for dinner and the complimentary breakfast was also excellent. One of our favorite parts was the patio on which we could enjoy our morning coffee and overlook the city.
Nothing.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean cosy and large. The bathroom was modern and had everything you needed in the room with loads of USB points for charging phones up.
I even tried the evening meal which was excellent and the atmosphere of the pub was amazing.
I can't think of anything I dislike, will definitely stay there again

Very Good
Great staff, superb pub, amazing location
The bed was described as a queen but was actually two twin beds. This isn't the same thing, and wasn't as comfortable as a queen. I asked for a queen in advance, so it was disappointing that the beds were like this.

Wonderful staff, big room, air conditioning, iron, basically everything you need for a weekend away. Beds very comfy
Not a criticism, but rooms are up narrow stairs so not good if you are infirm.

I had a great stay, the Rose and Crown had everything I needed and the breakfast had a good variety of options. The food in the evenings is also great and very comfy beds. I have a few stays booked for work so will definitely be staying again!
