It’s a lovely hotel, good location, staff very friendly and helpful. I loved using the pool, that was my favourite part.
I didn’t get the best sleep, just a personal preference with the pillows. The breakfast wasn’t great, no fried eggs/potato scones/square sausage. It wasn’t worth the £25 in my opinion but next time I just won’t have the breakfast, doesn’t put me off staying again.

Food was good, staff mostly really helpful and lovely rooms.
Area round the hotel looks a bit run down. We paid for breakfast for first day @£12.50 per person which was good value(except for a 5 year old who ate a bowl of cereal) on the second morning we went to pay and were told because we never booked the day before it was £17.50 for breakfast. We were a group of 2 adults and 2 children and felt £70 was excessive for breakfast. This should have been explained to us on check-in.

Great location, great gym
The village hotel is getting very tired now , mattress not comfy, tv’s need updating as not many channels work or able to link your device to. Also the price was almost 400% more because of 2 concerts on that night. Ridiculous
