The staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking in a location which felt secure.
The room was fairly clean, but it was small. Some things were a bit tired (wall paper around main light switch, shower cubical and window frames for example) and could do with a freshen up.
The shower itself was poor. Hot water comes through eventually, but the flow was hardly worth the getting wet.

It was a traditional Scottish location with much potential. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
It’s very worn, there is little in the way of attention to detail and everything is done very cheaply. It could honestly have been cleaner (there was mould on the walls behind the curtains and on the window frames)

The staff and atmosphere. Spacious rooms. Good dining and beers.
Outside Glasgow in a very tiny village - which is obvious though. Positive: very quiet.

Very run down rooms. Wall paper peeling off, fabric on the beds all ripped. In desperate need of a revamp.

A huge thank you to Lisa and the team! We travelled all the way from Manchester to Millport — a six-hour journey — only to face a further nine-hour wait due to the ferry being suspended and eventually cancelled.
There was nothing we didn’t like, everyone went above and beyond for us.
