The location.
Tiny room. Double bed pushed up against the wall meant I could only get out of bed by climbing over my partner. Could not get out of bed at the foot of the bed as there was a bedside? table and stool pushed between the wall and the bed. Just too cramped.

Charlie and his staff at Z Glasgow were fantastic, friendly and amazingly helpful! I felt like I was treated like family and that everyone at Z was NOT just doing their job --- they were doing their best and being themselves in a professional manner. Great location! Free wifi is a big deal for individual travelers!
I felt one improvement that might be made would be to create a brief "Welcome & how it works here at Z" card to put in rooms that would be helpful to inexperienced travelers like me. This would help staff and not make it necessary for them to explain everything (perks & benefit of staying at Z) for every new guest, especially when they are tired from traveling.
At first glance I thought my room was SO small, but then I recognized and learned how much care and planning had gone into each room - I was sold. I had a windowless room and I thought that might be a problem, but the air conditioning was fantastic and in the end I loved my safe little room with everything I needed to be comfortable.

Its the third time i have stayed here and the location is great. Always a pleasure to stay here.
As i have said in previous reviews the bed frames creak every time you move but its not enough to stop me returning. The hotel rates are a little on the high side but i do love this place.

Location ! The dining lounge is really nice to have a drink or some food. The staff was always friendly. I stayed here three times during my trip to Scotland.

The rooms have all that we needed, comfortable beds and good shower. It was nice to have air conditioning, which is not common in many places we have stayed in Scotland. Staff were friendly and helpful.
