I liked it so much and would've given the overall place a 10 score if it weren't for the woke rainbow bunting in the reception area. Such a shame as everything else was so good. The staff were friendly and perfectly helpful and the rooms exceptional. The selection of channels on the TV was superb too. It had the makings of a top-scoring hotel if it were not for political correctness-a shame.

The room smelled like semen, the shower flooded, there was no light source, the flooring was uneven, the bed was lumpy, there was no style

The staff was wonderful and our meal was delicious.
We had just finished a five star Backroads trip where we had every amenity.
This hotel was barebones. No closet, no chair. Not much of anything.
And we paid quite a lot of money for the room.

Great location, multi story car park that's only £12.50 for 24 hours as a guest of the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful
Not a criticism as the hotel is in the middle of the city centre. If you want a quiet night...may be difficult as can hear the nightlife in the streets below.
