Lovely historic building on the edge of the city centre, close to shops and transportation hubs. The staff were very welcoming and cheery.
The room and bed were comfortable, exactly what I needed after a good walk around the city.

This property was so cute and comfortable. The staff were polite and accommodating. The included breakfast was well worth it, and the museum next door was great to have a look in. Would highly recommend for location, cleanliness of property and hospitality of the staff on site. Bonus - it’s great to know you are supporting something important like the National Piping Centre :)

Accommodation was first class. The room was comfortable and super clean. This was matched only by the staff who were routinely friendly, helpful, and professional. We were warmly welcomed and offered a welcome dram. Such a lovely touch. Our food, both at breakfast and lunch, was spectacular. It was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Again, the bar staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

The welcome from the staff was excellent. First impressions on entering were really good. The breakfast was sensational.
The room was small and a bit dated. The bed throw had bleach stains and the bed surround was ripped. The walls were badly stained and the decor was just tired. The bathroom has obviously been updated but the bedroom hasn't.
