Breakfast was excellent, well cooked hot, proper Scottish breakfast, porridge was just to my liking couldn't manage the toast, too full, the girls who worked there worked very hard with long hours, i highly recommend this hotel

There were a couple of oversights in our room when we arrived (insufficient towels, TV not working) but all immediately sorted out in the friendliest of manners and we then had a lovely meal in the restaurant and delicious freshly prepared breakfast the following morning
The cleaning in parts of our room was not as thorough as it c/should have been

never tried the breakfast when we left.
location was good as if was close to the train station and had plenty of food options around.
toilet was detaching from the floor, shower didn't stay in holder unless at a certain angle, toilet was cramped with us touching the wall with our knees.
bed wasnt as comfortable as would have liked so didn't get the best sleep.
