Very pleasant property in a great location!
The breakfast menu was limited, and upon arriving to breakfast there is no permanent staff member located in the dining area meaning you’re left to wander and find what you need.

The Staff were lovely and extremely helpful.
Not easy to get over the bridge at the Station with a heavy case. Could have done with a small table both sides of the bed.

Good room. Breakfast was good. Busy restaurant with good food. Staff were brilliant.
We used bus and subway to go into Glasgow which took about30/40 minutes. But nice safe and friendly neighbourhood.

Lovely accommodating staff and great location, only 5 mins from restaurants and train station. Food in the hotel restaurant was great. Bed was comfy.
The only downsides were that the room was very warm, so the window had to be open the whole time, and there was a pedestrian crossing right outside that went off very frequently and was very loud. And for the price we paid for each night, the bathroom and room were small.

Nothing special but fine.
We booked a de luxe double room en suite. Perhaps I didn't read the fine print carefully enough, but although the room looked charming, I was not expecting a small double bed, one side of which did not have even a bedside lamp or table. The bathroom was a miracle of space management, so small that it was genuinely quite a challenge to get in or out. The room faced directly on to a main road, so that traffic noise made it impossible to open a window. There was a big football match on in the city which meant that the bar and the outside seating areas were still buzzing well after midnight. After the first night I complained and we were moved to a much better (and much quieter) room, although the bathroom was still amazingly small. But otherwise it was properly equipped, and the bed was a super king, very comfortable. Having said that, I must make mention of the staff, mostly very young, every one of whom could not have been more exceptionally friendly and helpful. Knowing what I know now, I would only book in again (and we need to come to Glasgow regularly to see our son who lives in South Side) if I could be assured the second room.

On arrival, the atmosphere and efficient staff were very welcoming. The accommodation, restaurant, and bar all clean and and very well organised leading to timely service. I was particularly impressed by how happy the team members were and nothing was too much trouble.
If I was being picky the bathroom in our room was a tad small.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Served promptly and portion size more than adequate. The evening meal was also cooked to perfection.
The room was very spacious apart from the shower room which was quite small but I imagine it's what to expect in older property. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient and made you feel very welcomed.
There is not much to dislike about this hotel other than when the temperature is high outdoors the room becomes quite hot.
