the staff were super friendly, the breakfasts were huge so I could never finish but good.
not enough plugs in the room, especially none near the bed.

Location excellent, staff friendly and bar/restaurant very good.

Staff were absolutely brilliant, very friendly and the breakfast was so nice.
The shower room was absolutely tiny the bed wasn't good, old sprung mattress and a small double . The staff were lovely though

15 minutes for anyone to appear at reception desk. tried to phone room service, no phone in my room, had to walk to reception and wait again for staff. shower door broken, had to hold it shut. toilet like a shoe box

The hotel is well located and has free parking at the back. We had an excellent lunch in the restaurant and breakfast was very good too. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had asked for twin beds but told there were none available when we checked in. Our small room had a queen bed which was comfortable enough but too small and there was no chair to sit on. The en suite bathroom was tiny and it very awkward to use. The worst aspect was there was a noisy party happening downstairs and when it was still going on at midnight, my partner had to go down to ask when it was finishing so we could get some sleep. We expected more for £150 and to have somewhere to sit other than the bed as well as get a peaceful night’s sleep.

Quality period hotel with excellent facilities and great staff.
We had a lovely corner room and only minor criticism was the size of en-suite facilities…very small.

Breakfast was fabulous as were the staff and room was nice enough.
Couldn’t get a parking space at hotel and enquired if they had spaces for residents but told no. Not ideal to park a mile down the road and have to walk. Maybe spaces could be allocated for residents in future
