We had a very nice stay at Kelvingrove Hotel. We've stayed there before so we know what to expect. Our room looked out onto Sauchiehall Street, but because there was double glazing, we weren't too bothered by road noises. There were some, but not bad enough to disturb us.
The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was a wee bit small, you can tell it was added in looking at the beautiful coving, but it was clean and functional.
The wifi at the hotel was nice and fast. We also liked there being lots of sockets.
A shout out to Joe, who seemed to be there all the time during our stay and did everything. He made us feel very welcome and was friendly and welcoming. He even cooked the breakfast, which was very good indeed.
The location was ideal for us as we were attending events at Kelvin Hall.
Parking is a little bit expensive and there is a 3-hour limit during the week which is continuous, which means it is not reset to zero at midnight. You cannot buy any more time on your parking app. This may trip people up.
All in all, a perfect hotel for us.
The parking restrictions, but this is out of the control of the hotel.
There are a lot of stairs, but then the hotel is made up of a number of Georgian houses, so this can't really be helped.

Great location and the Receptionist was so welcoming and friendly. The room was big enough, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked new.
The toilet flush wasn't the best and extremely noisy (receptionist said its a Saniflow system so that might explain it). To be fair thought that was the only downside. We only stayed one night so it wasn't a major issue.

Location, staff and price. Very good value.
Dining facilities rather small although we didn't use them ourselves. . They seemed adequate enough.

Hotel was clean as could be! Joe the doorman is a man asset to your property!
My only negative was location, but that was purely my fault as I didn’t realise the actual location of property! I thought was nearer City Centre than it was, but as I said my own fault completely not a reflection on the hotel at all!

Location brilliant for the Ovo Hydro
So nice to have breakfast freshly cooked rather than a kept-warm buffet
Lovely plump pillows
Very little street noise
Plenty of tea, coffee & milk
Excellent hairdryer
The bed was quite creaky & the mattress had seen better days
The curtains were only just wide enough to cover the window
