This is a beautiful old but refurbished hotel, the staff was very attentive and my room very comfortable. It is so close to the train station that it has it's own exit onto the departure's level - very convenient.

Good location
Breakfast was a shambles. Large tour group in - staff seemed to be totally taken by surprise at the rush at breakfast - no plates - coffee machines not working - food shortages at all the buffet stations. Not great given the money paid.
Plus located in a room with literally no view. Again not great given the price paid.

It is a ok but…
Overall, the hotel is acceptable, but since we have our car with us, it overlooks an important issue: its location is in a relatively busy area with a rather complicated traffic layout and access restrictions. Surprisingly, the hotel does not seem to have taken this into consideration and provides no temporary stopping area for guests to drop off or load their luggage.
We had quite a difficult time upon arrival until the concierge kindly assisted us. The parking facility used by the hotel is the one at the station, which is quite a distance away, especially when you have to drag your luggage all the way there.
Overall, the parking and luggage arrangements make arriving at and departing from the hotel unnecessarily inconvenient and frustrating.

Cool location right in the train station! Breakfast was good and room was clean. Staff was very friendly. Easy to get from the parking garage to the hotel.
Room was a bit cramped. A bit pricey for one night.

Ash at reception went out of her way to be helpful when I explained I was having to cancel a holiday to get back to my son due to an unexpected bereavement. She even sent me cakes and a drink with a personalised card to my room to try and make my day a little better.
