Limited small parking area, but that is just an American complaining that is not used to driving on the left side and spoiled with large lanes and parking spots.

The Abby Inn was easy to find. The ensuite room was clean and comfortable. Parking was ample and included in the cost of the room - bonus!

We understood that we booked a room in a popular public house and so our expectations were not too high. However, the one night was fine in most respects and it was certainly not as noisy as we thought it might be. Very good communications with the hosts prior to our visit.
We've stayed in hundreds of hotels, motels, boarding houses, B&Bs, etc over many years throughout the world. This was the first venue ever that refused to place our two small ice packs in their freezer overnight for us. According to the bar manager, the reason was for 'potential contamination'! If he'd stated that it was company policy, we would have understood. But the reason he gave was balderdash!

Breakfast was very disappointing
Service was poor and standard of products extremely low.
Ordered cooked option and only consumed egg some black pudding and couple mushrooms.
Individual packs of butter were clearly unfresh and curdled in appearance.
Felt unwell for entire day and was physically sick at 3..45 am this morning.
Composition of expelled matter mainly mushroom.

The breakfast was very good. The room was small but well laid out, comfortable, quiet and very clean. I did sleep really well. I had a meal there and it was great value for money. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole place was kept clean and tidy and smells nice too.
Parking is available on site but is limited.

Friendly welcome, we called ahead as we were late arrivals and the pre ordered our evening meal for us. This is going above and beyond and we are very grateful for this. We enjoyed our meal and drinks. We had a cute room, was small but otherwise perfect in every way for us. The decor was lovely, and so many bits included in room. Tea/Coffee biscuits, an iron and ironing board, a fan, a tv, and even usb charging point. The bathroom was also well presented with some lovely toiletries. For the price we paid we were very surprised on how good the room was. It was well sound proofed so even though it was Friday night and music playing in the bar below we heard nothing!
I wouldn't say we disliked anything.
