Staff are so friendly, and the venue is spotless. Our room was a great size and the location suited us well. Car park on site was handy but plenty of street parking too. 5 minute walk to the train station and 1 stop into the city. The restaurant was lovely, we sat next to the fireplace which was lovely for a rainy night. Our waiter on the evening was attentive and organised a wee mocktail for me which I really appreciated. (It was delicious and wasn't just juice and sprite). We would definitely book again and looks like a stunning venue for a wedding.

Close to airport.
No one offers to help you with bags up flights of stairs. No water provided. The bed and pillows are HORRIBLE. Worst hotel of our entire trip.

The manager or night staff were lovely
Food was overpriced and the standard was not up to scratch for the type of hotel it is. Also the laundry service is not up to standard, I gave in my laundry well before 9am as directed by the staff to be getting it back the same day., however I had to wait till 8:30 pm before having it back then they lost some items and gave me a strangers items with my batch.

We had access to the castle even though we were in a separate building. Location was in a nice area.
We had hoped to be in the castle building as part of our holiday experience. It was quite noisy in the morning since our room was next to the parking lot.

The staff were fantastic, both customer facing and billing. I had a billing error at the end of my stay and it was promptly corrected after sending one email. The hotel is beautiful, inside and out. The bartender (late night attendant) was super-courteous and a pleasure to chat with.
The hotel is an older facility and we happened to stay on an unseasonably warm August night. So, the lack of air-conditioning was noticeable - not unbearable, just noticeable by two US based individuals who like very cold rooms.

The staff is by far what stands out at Sherbrooke Castle Hotel! They were exceptional, from the moment we checked in until we checked out!!!!! The castle and the grounds are stunning!

Well maintained. Pleasant and helpful staff. Well appointed room. LOVED the giant tub! The property is walking distance from some lovely parks. We had a lovely “explore” and returned to the hotel to a delicious dinner and a great soak in the bath before crawling in a perfectly comfortable bed.

Baronial mansion set in manicured gardens on a quiet, tree-lined suburban street that is great value for money and very convenient to airport without being in the air-traffic footprint. The reception desk is in a huge foyer from which rises a grand stair case below a huge, domed, stained-glass skylight. Our room was spacious and well appointed on the first floor. The fact that the hotel is within easy waling distance of shops or restaurants is not a detriment as the in-house restaurant and bar are excellent, serving elegant and tasty meals in a beautifully appointed dining room. Service by young staff was very warm and efficient.
No elevator, but staff very helpful with luggage.

We loved the castle! Great staff and accommodations. Obviously a standout in the neighborhood!
As with so many older buildings, maintenance is costly and it shows in many areas around the building. I understand though and still love the place!

A beautiful place to stay, truly enjoyed my time here. Still within walking distance to much of what Glasgow offers and surrounded by beautiful parks including Pollok Country Park. Great options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the staff were all brilliant. Could not recommend a stay here more!
