Outside noise. You sent e mail to say work noise from 9 in morning. Nothing to say it was going on until 4 in the morning. If you had told me this I would have cancelled. 4 hours sleep we had which spoiled our whole day on Friday.

The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. The reception staff were very helpful in booking a taxi .
The bad experience at the bar . When ordering a bottle of wine . They didn't have the wine we wanted . The bar staff offered another bottle of wine but when we went to pay for this was well over the price gor a bottle of Cloudy Bay . £100 . The bar staff should have handed the wine list over for us to choose how much we want to spend . The hot drinks we ordered the next day wasnt very hot either

Stayed here a few times, it's always a pleasure and it's a fantastic location next to Glasgow Central station and very handy for the shops, bars and restaurants
It was a pity our room wasn't serviced for our second night, but not a massive issue.

The rooms have been revamped since my last visit and they are really nice.
I was sent 2 messages prior to day i paid in advance. After i paid i was informed that there was work going on in the hotel and there might be some noise. There was also a young farmers ball until midnight. If i had been informed about this i would have cancelled my booking. To be fair the noise did end around midnight.
