The bar
There was mould above the shower head and the shower head wasn’t on right and it soaked the bathroom and soaked my clothes and I still haven’t received my deposit back

The hotel is well located, which was the main positive of our stay.
Housekeeping was a real letdown. Used cups were left uncleared in the room, the furniture and bathroom had not been properly cleaned, and there was no tissue, tea, or coffee supplied — despite our booking four rooms, including a junior suite.
The junior suite itself was disappointing. It is noticeably small for the category and does not justify the premium charged over a standard room. Guests paying suite rates will expect meaningfully more space than we received.
We were also asked for a £100 security deposit, which was not made clear at the time of booking. I understand pre-authorisation is used by some hotels, but it should be communicated in advance so guests aren’t caught off guard at check-in.
For a hotel of this brand and price point, these are basic standards that should be met — particularly on a group booking of this size.

What a great hotel. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, plenty of space and a well thought out design. A fantastic breakfast, plentiful and fresh. I would definitely stay here again.
Nothing of the hotel. The area near central station nearby needs to be cleaned up. Tends to feel unsafe.

Room temperature 24.7, very uncomfortably hot.
Phoned reception & only offered heating to be turned off. Vouced complaint when checking out.
Receptionist quite dismisive.
Apologised & said would let manager know.

-there is parking discount in NCP parking but didnt know about this when booked so paid extra fr parking far away.
