The property is in an excellent location near bus station and Queen St train station as well as city center attractions. The property was responsive to any questions we had. The living space was quite spacious and the kitchen very functional with nice amenities such as tea, coffee, milk, water and biscuits.

The location
There were major road works which prevented us to arrive at the property. This was extremely stressful given it was our first time in Glasgow. To be told this was "a first world problem" was a bit rude. It would have been appropriate for the property to advise all in coming guests of this issue so they would be prepared. We parked our car at the Q park and were appreciative of the discounted rate. On leaving, getting to the car park was horrendous - getting our luggage through the roadworks to a taxi rank and getting a taxi to the carpark was stressful. The taxi driver was exceptional.
The unit was sparse and uninviting.
Our bedroom had an external light flicking on and off all night which was like Chinese torture (sleep deprivation). Our iron didn't work and the ironing board kept collapsing - however these were replaced promptly.

The location is excellent, close to everything in the city center of Glasgow and the train station. The apartment was also very spacious and with ample rooms, especially the living room. Would certainly recommend!
Just a couple of things would have made the experience better: 1. The road it is on is closed, this would have been a helpful detail to be told about in communications prior to arrival. 2. Suggest that the check of things like handwash and tissue paper is more exhaustive since we run out of both upon arrival since there was little to nothing left. Since reception was closed we had to wait till next morning to ask for more. They gave it to us no problem, it just could have been avoided

Key collection was a tad odd, as their actual reception office is upstairs, and in a very small room. I also did not realize how difficult it would be to get to the parking garage they referred us to. We got lost due to street construction, and it took us 80 minutes to simply drop our rental and get back to the hotel. Location was good though, and the rooms were very spacious! After dinner we were all a tad tired. Our two bedroom unit was large enough that five of us hung out comfortably. We would have liked to be able to access the balconies, but when we called downstairs to ask, we were told that they no longer allow guests to open them.

Location
The apartment needs renovation desperately. The boiler stopped working one day and the problem was solved the following day after the second report. The towels were not sufficient for two guests. In general the images published on the platform were quite deceptive vs the reality.

Good location, lots of space, comfy beds, elevator, great pub right across the road, super close to train station, surprisingly quiet for the location
It was pretty hot and while fans were provided, the windows didn’t open very wide to help let cool air in. Also lots of construction on the street at the moment (Aug 2026)

Location, staff was friendly, helpful and quick response time, spacious, easy to get to train station, loved the area.
Could not use balconies, even tho pics of the balconies were shown. Was only informed a few days in advance even though this has been in effect since 2021! It was too late to find anything else so I felt a discount should have been applied for misleading the public. Flat no on that one.
Also, none of the doors stay open, you could not open the bathroom door all the way because the sink was in the way, breaker kept tripping even though we weren't using any appliances. Towel warmers were not turned on, so what's the point of having them?
I probably would not stay here again.

No reception but an office and had to wait as no one was there when we arrived - at the time we were expected.
Advertised as a room with a view. Did have unusable patio; however, this and all windows looked out at a wall. If I had known this, I would not have booked this hotel. Only hotel in our 10 day stay in Scotland that misled us in this way.

Very friendly reception staff. The apartment, in particular the kitchen and living area was bright and spaceous. The windows were able to be opened for airflow. It was a great central location.
The entrance to the building was very difficult to find, but the receptionist talked me through finding the door when I called.

Quite warm, extremely loud and noisy if you are staying in the street side especially Friday and Saturday nights.

I had a very late check in due to flight delays but it was still easy to get the keys and get safely into my room. Communication was quick, friendly and helpful.
The only negative was the noise from the parties down in the street. It was LOUD but hey-it was a Friday night and it is city center in Glasgow :) I wouldn't recommend staying here with little kids, just because the noise level.

The location was useful
The host didnt tell us there were roadworks around George Square, causing masses of detours and inconvenience to us and having to unload far from the apartment. They also didnt tell us the car park was 10 mins walk from the apartment. When we arrived the apartment was not representative of the photos, the windows were broken with safety issues of the cord broken from the frame, we were on the 6th floor and there can be safety incidents. The apartment was too hot and the heating couldnt be switched off, making it a very uncomfortable night, we wont be staying here again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone
