Fantastic view, very friendly staff. I had had to walk out of the hotel I'd booked (long story, but the accommodation they had provided was not what I had signed up for and it wasn't possible for me to access it). The Britannia staff, at 10.55pm, took pity on me, sorted me out a lovely room, and were so kind and friendly that I would happily stay there again
The hotel is a little faded and needs a refurbishment, but it's perfectly fine.

The staff was nice, pleasant, and made us feel welcome. The room was tidy. The bed was comfortable.
The outside windows were dirty, and the toilet had a leak at the back of it, and it wasn't nice walking into the water at 6am.

Nice clean, quiet, comfortable room. Near to city centre. Friendly staff.
The room got overly warm and the window doesn't open as a safety feature. A tower fan is provided but this is not adequate. Air-conditioning would be a better option. Also the toilet paper is just weird!

The room and view were great.
Receptionists at the front desk were fantastic.
Air con in room didn't seem to work so it was very warm.
No fresh fruit at breakfast.

Reasonable location for what we required
Feel for £194 the room was very dated, the bed cover had a rip in it, rhe cleanliness was poor skirting boards covered in dust walls full of dirty marks windows so dirty you could barely see out of them.

Bathroom arrangement, toilet in corner with doorstop in floor. Dangerous
I stepped on the door stop, stumbled and tried to correct my footing. Ended up heal landing on it and really hurt my foot. This caused pain for 2nd half of our holiday but feels much better now return to Canada.
Easy fix with a door stop that attaches to top of door rather than in floor.

Good comfortable bed ,nice staff and friendly.
Very poor value for money . breakfast was worse ive had, the hotel is a rip off should be 60% cheaper , no bar no water available .
