The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom was very clean
The carpets in the corridors. Old and dirty. Also, there was a continuous low putch noise, which gets into ones head. I really didn't understand those crazy lights. Almost had a migraine trying to turn off those cold purple, pink, blue green...crazy lights that started flashing like a disco in the bedroom. They are the most horrendous and unpleasant thing ... that has nothing to do with ambient lighting

The location is great, short walk to Glasgow Central, plenty of good bars and restaurants within minutes of the hotel.
If you're in one of the internal rooms with no window it can be a bit discombobulating waking up and realising it's already midday

The noise, both inside a.nd outside the property was pretty horrendous. Shower was in need of a freshen up in terms of grouting. Sheets could have been laundered better. Marks on wall could have done with a wipe down. More pillows. Cooked breakfast would have been better than cold pastries.

Lovely bright room, en suite and close to work
Very expensive and no kettle in rooms. I stayed for a week and not being able to even make a coffee/tea first or last thing is irritating.

Location was great
When I was signing in the staff member wasn't very pleasant. Just seemed bothered by our presence really and just wasn't polite. Also made an inappropriate comment when asking me to put my partners name in, referring to her as your one your here with in quite a derogatory tone. I kind of thought in my head, who else other than my partner would I be sharing a hotel with? I didn't like what he was clearly implying but I stayed polite because we just wanted to rest in our room. I Paid extra for a window that wasn't working correctly as one of the handles were broken. A lot of noise and door slamming along with what sounded like a water heater. Whatever it was it was all quite disruptive and we didn't get much sleep. There were scuff marks on the walls, holes and holes in the curtains television stations are fuzzy at best. I wasn't aware of the ridiculous lights that these hotels have but it's a terrible idea.
