Wonderful
Wifi and AC worked well. Bed comfy. Shower pressure good. Great central location, 7 min away on foot from coach bus station. Quiet despite central location.
Rooms a bit small but fine.

Very Good
It is almost hidden in amongst the other buildings. Then it is like a modern gem. Bright, modern, clean, a bit art deco-ish. We were there for take that and it was perfect for all modes of transport. Very comfy beds and a good shower compared to some I’ve experienced!! Our room wasn’t huge , but had everything we needed. Checkout was 11am so we had a good sleep. 24/7 reception and they kept our luggage for us until later, so we could see the city.
The fact you couldn’t make a cup of tea/coffee in your room. They had a “coffee station” at reception, but you had to pay for your drinks, so a shop really. Couldn’t find anything else to fault it for.

Pleasant
location and room clean . price
Penny pinching. No kettle in room. Had to pay 3.50 for a cup of tea in lobby . The owner wants to fleece you for every penny. I am not mean by any standards but this was too much for me. No lobby space . Couldnt sleep so left room . Would liked to have a kettle in room . Also I became a member as the Contitental Breafast was included . Staff a bit ruthless. As I had booked through booking. com. I was not entitled to free continental breakfast. Don't really liked continental breakfast. But I would have loved a cup of tea.

Good
Room was fine, getting in the room early was a great.
Bathroom had weird smell. Fan was loud and ventilation otherwise was poor.
Not hotel fault but a lot of noise from corridor through the night from other guests sat out in the hall etc.
Near 200 for 1 night mid week in average hotel, definitely wouldn't pay that again, and only did so in emergency to get to hospital.

Item went missing from the room during housekeeping and the hotel denies it.
I assumed it was an accident since the item in question was a (premium) neck pillow which has no mentionable resale value and could've so easily been accidently carried out with rolled up sheets and other laundry. I told reception about it around midnight when I first noticed it missing. Front desk said they'd leave a note for housekeeping and I should ask about it in the morning. Next morning I went down to reception again, and there was another person working there who had no knowledge of the situation. I had to explain the situation again and they called housekeeping on the spot. I was then told housekeeping said "there was no neck pillow in the room".
I left it on the floor on top of my empty foldable backpack before housekeeping came in, and later in the day came back to find the item missing and my backback rolled up on the table. This isn't an item I'd take with me to explore the city, and it was large enough to not just disappear in the room. I checked absolutely every nook, cranny and crevice of the room just in case.
I did not get any compensation and my issue wasn't even taken seriously as the night shift didn't even bother to pass the message along to morning shift. On top of that the hotel claims I'm lying by saying it was never even in the room. I didn't even get an apology, but instead was made to feel patronized and like it was my fault. They even asked me if I had "checked under the bed" like that isn't the first place one would look for missing items. I did find dust, crumbs and dirt under the bed though.
I thought the neck pillow going missing was a genuine accident since it has no resale value, even though it was a very nice pillow and cost me around €50 when new, but the housekeepers claiming it was never in the room makes me think it was stolen on purpose after all.
