Disappointing
The staff here are wonderful—friendly, helpful. In fact, I felt a bit sorry for them. The hotel doesn't seem to believe in proper desks, so the reception team was forced to use stacks of toilet paper rolls to prop up their laptops just so they wouldn't develop permanent back issues. It is incredibly bizarre to hire great front-desk but fail to provide them with a basic, functioning workstation. Five stars for the humans, zero stars for the office supplies.
Where do I begin? The rooms are incredibly old and so humid I half-expected to find a rainforest ecosystem forming. To breathe, you have two choices: turn on the AC, or open the window. Opening the window, however, is a catastrophic mistake. Thanks to the location, your soundtrack for the weekend will be an uninterrupted symphony of street screams, loud music, and aggressive seagulls. The walls themselves bear the literal scars of the dampness.
Housekeeping was its own horror movie. Basic amenities like extra pillows were nonexistent, and the towels provided came with complimentary brown stains. Opening one of them revealed a massive furball of human hair that I will be seeing in my nightmares. To top it off, the plumbing is haunted. Whenever a neighbor showered at night, the pipes made a screeching sound identical to a Nazgul screaming for the One Ring. It woke me up two nights in a row. I’ve stayed in 25 different hotels this year alone, and this is by far the worst. Yes, it’s cheap, but if you wait until the same day, you can easily find a much better hotel in the area for less cash and zero Nazguls.

Fair
Location. Breakfast buffet was great. It had lifts.
Rooms were ridiculously tiny with no windows & nowhere for cases or bags. Bathroom was tiny. The whole thing felt like a space pod & claustrophobic.

Very Good
The hotel is in a great location, close to things to do in the city and the bus station. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and kind and the hotel was very clean and great value for money. The breakfast was good as well. We liked the funky colored lights in the room.
We just wished the room was a bit bigger. We only stayed for one night, so it wasn't a big deal but it would have been a tight space for a multi-night stay.
