Breakfast was very good - sausages excellent. The lounge area near reception was cosy and warm. Nice to hang out after a day out. Bar area not super cosy. All staff were super friendly and helpful. The entire place had very tasteful decor. Large room. Very good value for money. Not sure if the prices are equally reasonable all year
On the day of arrival, we were told, that the kitchen would be open until 20.30. Once we sat down, just before that time, the chef had left, so no food was available. Lack of internat coordination. The heating in the room (304) did not work. The heating/aircon panel was non responsive. This was reported every day from Thursday to Sunday, and was only fixed Sunday mid day.

The staff were cheery
The room. There was a broken bit in bathroom floor which was dangerous and a real trip hazard, I tripped twice! The lighting was dark with no overhead light so not ideal to work at PC. The water in the bottle absolutely clearly was a few days old. The room had not been hoovered between the previous occupant and me. Kitchen was closed at 9.45pm so no food available after theatre.

Rooms were modern, clean, spacious and good value for money. Breakfast was additional and so was access to the wellness room however these were both worth the money
The dinner menu is limited with many things not available on the night as we were seated forcing us to go elsewhere for food. The wellness room is great addition however no where to leave belonging safely and no robes in the rooms left us confused to how to get changed and such, also key card automatically stopped working at exactly 12pm after being told it was okay to leave stuff in the room and collect it after out 11am spa slot leaving us going to reception to have the key to work again. Better organisation is required for the wellness room use.
