Beautiful decor in the reception and the restaurant - the rooms are very basic though. Great location, close to the main street and shopping malls. Nice restaurant with great food and drinks for a very reasonable price. Breakfast staff was always super polite, nice and welcoming, breakfast was simple but good and you can order super good pancakes for 5 pounds. The gym was nice with good variety of equipment/barbells and brand-new treadmills, it's open from early morning until late in the evening and they even offered to open it for me if I wanted to use it at other hours. The staff was always very helpful, one woman insisted on helping me with my suitcases down the stairs from the elevator.
My room was a bit dirty - a lot of dust in many places, under the bed was a pile of dust and on top of the hand soap dispenser. It really makes you wonder what else is not cleaned very well.. The pillows were extremely firm, but I asked for softer ones and got them. The Kleenex tissue finished on my second day and was never replaced, same with the plastic sanitary bags in the bathroom. It's a long way from the entrance of the hotel to your room (through many, many, many doors) so not very easy to drop in with your luggage or shopping bags. Also, the elevator is located through 2 staircases, so a bit unfortunate if you have many suitcases. All the pastries at breakfast were extremely over baked, almost burnt so they were completely inedible - I thought it was a one-time mistake my first morning, but it was like that all 6 days I stayed there. I was told I could probably have a fridge in my room when I booked and also when I arrived, but they were looking for it the entirety of my 6 days stay... Also, I got a water bottle in my room on my last day, not sure if they usually provide water and forgot the other days or what.

Wonderful
The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Glasgow close to Central Station. The bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely bathroom and shower.
The staff were friendly and efficient, however, there were times when there were not enough of them and I had to wait a while to get served. The advert for the room showed a great big window, but in my room there was only a high up porthole window. I would have expected a proper window for the price.

Check-in was quick and easy.
The room was stylish and cosy. Bed was comfy.
The shower was brilliant and the toiletries were of good quality.
The smart tv with Netflix was a great feature.
I believe access to rooms, elevator and stairwells was only by keycard which made me feel safer.
Great location for a night out in the city centre
And close to the train station.
There were areas of the rooms which looked a little tired and worn. This was minimal.
The sink I’m my room was very slow draining and backed up a little. It brought but some waste after draining which was a bit off putting.

Great location! Clean room and very comfy bed. Check in was quick and easy. Bar looked nice
Shower was rubbish, water pressure very low. Spa had to be booked in advance despite being included in room and there were not many time slots left so we didn’t go
