Great location in the Center. Staff all very pleasant, big shout out to Karla, really looked after us as did the other bar staff. Evening menu was really delicious as were the puddings.
Breakfast was ok, the breakfast didn’t look like the advert on your electronic advertising boards around the hotel!! Would have been nice to have fresh warm pastries instead of cold dry ones.

Carpet need a good hoover Sink wasn’t draining away water ( brushing teeth ) For about 30mins there was a loud noise coming from above bathroom ceiling Reception not interested , receptionists generally can be bothered attitude Arrived earlier than check in hoping to drop bags which we could but also and I quote we have a room ready but to go up now we need £20

Check in was quick, friendly and efficient. All the staff were fantastic and dinner in the restaurant was great.
Breakfast was acceptable, did expect more or a selection and slightly better quality given the price point.

Location was everything.
We were given the wrong key card at first and we walked into someone else's room. Also, the box of chocolates had 3 missing, which made us think that the room wasn't cleaned properly. The emptying of glass bottles in the alley outside was deafening and every half hour sometimes. Very annoying.

Every single member of staff was lovely. The reception staff were so welcoming and helpful. We ate in the restaurant the first night - food and service was excellent, very high quality at a reasonable price. Breakfast was also very good. The bar area was lovely - very relaxing with great service. Perfect for a nightcap after a busy day. The room was very comfortable, with an iron and ironing board in the room. There was also a safe, and tea/coffee making facilities. Toiletries provided were very good quality.
I feel petty mentioning this, because we were very happy with this hotel, but it might be important for other potential guests ... the shower room was quite small, so not great for the larger guest, or for anyone with mobility issues.

Room was clean upon arrival.
Room didn't have a window which was not advertised on Booking.com. I stayed for 2 nights and the room was not cleaned after the first night. When this was reported to reception, the only comment that was made was that they would report it to housekeeping. Breakfast was also very minimal.

The location is perfect. Staff were lovely.
I paid for a wellness room which was more expensive than the other room prices. I expected this to be similar to a suite etc as it was higher in price. The room was very basic, i was asked on arrival if we were celebrating anything and I informed them we were celebrating my birthday to which I was told no balloons in the room which was disappointing as my partner planned to decorate the room for me. Nothing was then mentioned in regards to celebrating my birthday which I thought was odd (why ask)

The location was excellent for shopping, cafes, drinks and dining out, and also good for train services from Glasgow Central. The inclusive Spa area was also very good for a quick relax before heading out for dinner. Excellent choice of breakfast foods although not indication that an ‘egg / omlette’ order could have been placed to complement the cooked breakfast.
The ‘Club’ room was nothing special (except for inclusive use of the spa) and lacked coat hooks for winter / wet coats, which are an essential for a Scottish City Break in winter!! The en-suite also lacked a towel rail to enable bath towels to dry and be used more than once, which probably goes against most hotel sustainability goals in today’s world.

Breakfast was good though would have helped to know beforehand you can order items that were not on display e.g, poached eggs, or veggie sausage so you can have all cooked breakfast items at same time

The location was good. The bus stop was a short walk away if you didn't want to get stung at taxi prices. There are lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The staff were friendly at all times. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was warm, and the gym facilities were decent. I would stay here again.
The breakfast options were limited but decent for a few nights' stay. I couldn't get to use the spa facilities as they were fully booked.
