Wonderful
The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located in town, close enough to all the amenities you may require. The bus station is also close by so the commute was very easy. The breakfast area is gorgeous and the selection is good, can't complain.

Location close to trains and buses and walking to points of interest.
It was good to have a gym but could have offered a stationary bike.

Close to the city centre and Glasgow Queen Street this hotel is well situated. The room was large and a comfortable bed. Good breakfast in an airy room with large windows overlooking the street.
Whilst it was generally clean the housekeeping was rather relaxed and areas in the bathroom that should have been cleaned were not touched.

Pleasant
The breakfast is good and the cleanness of the hotel and the design of the hotel.
In the breakfast, the fresh fruits aren't not so fresh, but the rest is all good. The room is a bit small, the shower has low water pressure, and the bathroom is cramped. The price we paid for the "SPA" wasn't worth it; basically, we had a dry sauna that wasn't working properly, a shower and a contrast pool with freezing water, the space was disorganized, and the music should have been more relaxing.

Staff were lovely, we were impressed by how pleasant and friendly they were. The location of the hotel is excellent, very central and convenient. We liked the decor of the reception, bar, lounge, breakfast room and hallways. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast were generally good (fresh fruits and coffees very good, cooked meats a little less so, but overall a nice breakfast each day)
We were very disappointed with the room. It felt tight and soulless. There was no sense of luxury, warmth or generosity - it all felt bland and basic. The flooring is lino with some repairs needed. There was poor pressure in the shower, functional rather than refreshing. Had we not been paying so much for a 3 night stay it perhaps would not have felt so disappointing, but at the price we paid we would have appreciated something a little less basic.

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel .
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only thing I could think of was blackout curtains for light ! From office buildings opposite! As curtains don’t close properly!

Night porter extremely helpful and friendly! Can't argue about the location.
The price for the small room in a bang average hotel. The absense of being able to use cash for anything. The lack of acoustic insulation. Could hear traffic as if i was outside and people walking past the room as if they were in it.

The decor and feel of the property was lovely. Also the location was fantastic only a couple of minutes walk to Central Station and Queen Street.
We used the hotel as we were going to a gig at Hampden Park. We returned to the hotel at midnight and the doors were locked. We could see the staff on the desk doing clerical work and tried to gain his attention however this didn’t work. We then went to the other door that tells you to swipe your key card. That did not work so we pressed the buzzer for reception. The person told us to return to the main door and someone will be there to let us in. We did so and the same happened we could see the staff doing clerical work. We eventually had to knock on the window where other guests were enjoying an evening drink to ask them to alert the staff. When we gained entry he apologised and said he had been really busy.
We then went to the bar for a night cap. We ordered a Baileys and a Disarano and coke. They had no Baileys and the bar staff then replied about the other drink “we dont do cocktails after 11pm”. I explained it was not a cocktail but a liqueur. Both drinks were on the menu. He advised they also did not have that. So this was a bit disappointing.
On a seperate note the iron in the room or potentially the ironing board smelt like fish. And there were some “short and curlys” along the skirting in the bathroom which were there on arrival.
The lighting in the room and especially the bathroom is dreadful for doing make up!
Breakfast was lovely. There was a nice variety and we were there at 9 which worried me that there would not be a lot left or it would be poor. But it was fresh and well stocked and the staff were friendly.
The staff that checked is in and out were lovely too.

Staff were brilliant, esp Louise. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
Only hiccup was the shower thermostat. Was extremely hot and couldn't turn down. Reported to staff and was acknowledged straight away.

We had a lovely stay. The room was modern, spotless & comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast with something to suit everyone. The staff were friendly, welcoming & always happy to help. The hotel is in a central location, a short walk from the train stations, making it easy to head into town. We would definitely stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
