The hotel was beautiful.the restaurant was fantastic. The Botanic Gardens was just down Great Western Road. I nice little place dow the street is Cuku where you can pick a sweet, and fresh fruit as well as have a meal.

Love the feel of the place as always over last 20 years
It’s now is disrepair. No water supply to sink no maintenance to fix it . Blinds shoddy and breaking . Furniture had to be moved to reach a socket . I have to find a new Glasgow hotel as a base .

Location and large room size
Room was boiling hot, no air conditioning and one radiator was on we discovered on check out. Also lack of looking at booking notes evident, regarding not requiring dinner etc. Just annoying rather than an issue.

The atomsphere is amazing. This is a top top hotel with amazing rooms and facilities. The breakfast is great.
The booking.com info says it has Parking but it doesn't which is annoying considering the parking meter only takes coins!

A real old fashioned ( in a good way) 5 star hotel. The room was spacious with a lovely comfortable bed. The staff were excellent and very welcoming. Nothing was a problem. Wonderful breakfasts. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay.

Scaffold all along the building front builders at our bathroom and bedroom window meant room not private during working hours Breakfast at £35 per head on top of a £270 room rate is taking the nonsense - we have had breakfast there before and it was so bad they took it off my bill without me asking - which was the right thing to do . Staff fine

Spacious, gracious, beautiful room full of character and charm. Superb staff, and the most comfortable bed of our 3 month trip.
The working on the front facade of building in the morning when we needed a sleep in. But we understand they needed to do the work.
