Staff were so friendly and accommodating throughout. Great location. Very clean throughout. Great bedrooms. Large and exceptionally clean. Great bar and bar staff. Would stay again

Friendly staff, lovely room, comfy bed. Great breakfast excellent service and my dietary requirements were well catered for
Carpet in room was stained as was the one outside the lift and corridor. Black mould round taps and plug hole in bathroom.
On previous stays a place was reserved for me in the carpark due to my disability. I was promised this would be reserved this time but it wasn't. We were never told there would be a 10 pound charge to use the car park either and they could not guarantee a space would be available when we returned from our evening out. However they directed us to disabled parking in an adjacent street. Not ideal.
We also think that £158 was rather expensive for the double room accommodation and breakfast.

The main foyer and public areas are beautiful. I have previously used the conferencing facilities which were also great.
The minute you walk into the room it is one big disappointment. In complete need of updating. Still in hotels less than 100 yards away for less money and amazing quality. Took 15 minutes to answer our call for room service. Eventually called the bar who were extremely helpful. When food arrived, poor quality. Breakfast was poor, large slices of fruit that were impossible to eat, stale pancakes and having made a cup of tea it was foul tasting.

To be honest, I wasn't in the place for long. I chose it because I needed somewhere to park my car securely and affordably, and withing quick walking distance of a local cinema that had a strict screening time about 20 minutes after my arrival in the city. So, I parked up, checked in, dumped my bag and went straight out, returning about 6 hours later after meeting a pal and going for food and drinks. I got up to my clean and comfortable room and went to bed,
Upon waking in the morning, I had two coffees from the en-suite Nespresso machine, a shower and then checked out by 10am. No breakfast, no hanging out in the lobby nor use of any of the other facilities on offer.

Everythung about the stay was over and above my expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was of a bother. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
