I’ve stayed a number of times previously, the location is great , nice staff and rooms are clean .
Some general repairs required, toilet seat badly fitted, last night a lot of people shouting and screaming till the early hours .

the hot water was cold, we could hear the functions until well after midnight, the pillows were no more than 30mm thick and the there were only 3 of them for the 2 of us, the bedside light did not have a bulb in it, the room was tired generally. All for £150 plus per night

It was clean and close to the airport. The staff was nice and it was easy to arrange a shuttle to the airport!

We didn’t have breakfast, but we were looking for a good cup of coffee in the morning.
There is no fan or air movement in the room aside from opening the window. The toilet sits very close to the wall. There was no easy way to get a good cup of coffee in the morning. The elevator was broken so we had to haul suitcases up the stairs. However, the bed was good and the overall room was fine.

The hotel was hosting a Hen Party. These women were drunk and very loud. The staff just seemed to ignore them. When we left at 3:45 am there were three of them sitting out on the steps in front of the hotel talking loudly and smoking.

Location was good, glad to have onsite parking, booking was for kingsize bed, however, advised no kingsize available, double bed would have sufficed, but was actually twin beds in room. Restaurant very nice but one of coffee machines
not working so long queue at one which was working. Very noisy guests next door Room 217, due to a connecting door, heard every phone conversation, loud voices and heard phone left ringing constantly 4 times every couple of minutes after 5am on Friday morning. Room not as displayed on website, there was no mention of or picture of connecting door on website. Probably wouldn’t have booked if I had known this.

The lift was a wee bit dodgy but I used the stairs n let my partner use the lift. Used it as a chance to be childish and race him up and down lol ?

Disappointing
The staff were friendly and the event we attended was very good.
It is a bit run down in some areas of the hotel. The room was very small but the worst thing is the fact there is no big light in centre of room or any decent lighting only not very bright small lamps dotted about which were rubbish. I had to open the curtains at the window to do my hair and make up with the daylight. Standing at the main mirror could not see well at all. The food from the event was awful.
