Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was nice and clean.
Very central
Was waiting in a queue for 45 minutes to get checking in. Not the staffs fault, could clearly see they were short staffed. The queue was from the front desk to outside the hotel to round the corner. When big events are on around the city you need more staff to accommodate your guests.
Clear to see staff working hard and struggling with bare minimum staffing.

Convenient comfortable international hotel near central station
Only the price, I know it’s in a big city centre and demand drives the price (and everywhere I checked was high) but it just felt very expensive compared to other places I stayed in Scotland

Room and lobby comfortable, bar staff very friendly
On two days tge cleaner was vacuuming the lobby area during the day with guests sitting around. Surely that could be done earlier in the morning as it was noisy abd nade conversation difficult. Overall staff didn't feel as sharp or attentive as our previous visit in 2024
