This was actually the second time that we have booked an overnight stay at this hotel, staying in Portpatrick In South West Coast our choice was primarily due to its close proximity to Buchanan Street bus station and the town centre. We found all staff extremely pleasant and helpful nothing was too much bother for them.
We are currently considering another stay over trip to Glasgow when we are taking our 11year old to a show on the 27th December. The decision this time will require to be based on budget and cost of a family room, although our last room had 3 beds and would be ideal for the 27th, we find that other nearby town centre hotels are a lot cheaper, one being £40 of a difference.
No changes required, and hotel will certainly greatly benefit from the completion of the renovation of George Square and subsequent removal of site boardings and machinery

Jojo greeted my son and I, and what a lovely warm welcome it was. Perfect person to have on reception, excellent customer service!
The room does have parts that need a refurbishment, but for us that did not effect our stay. The hotel is lovely and warm, and not overly so which I do find often. The room was a lovely size, with two double beds, a welcomed upgrade as we had booked two single. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay, with a fridge which was helpful. The breakfast was amazing, literally something for everyone. I’m vegetarian, and did not struggle to eat well. Hotel is right next door to queen street station, great location.
We will definitely stay here ago. Amazing building that has so much character. Amazing staff that are a credit to the company. Thank you.

The location was great for our purpose. Breakfast was as expected. Would have preferred fried eggs on the menu as scrambled eggs
always like rubber no matter which hotel you stay in.
We had a room with no view, window had obscured glass and at the very end of a corridor. This happens a lot to us when booking through Booking .com. Even although we requested room to be replenished we did not receive hand soap nor shower soap. Person on desk duty came with some. Cleaning in bathroom very poor. Fluff on skirting. Not cleaned for a while by the look of things. Hotel needs some TCL.

Night manager needs to know how to respond to customer when dealing with a question and not Google the answer when tell us its the law and it wasn't
