Good location, close to trains and buses
Front desk staff were rarely available and when they were they were not helpful. They also charged me for 2 rooms when I only used one

Central location. Very spacious room
Security measures felt over the top, even had to swipe room card in order to use the lift. Had to be out of room before 10am if you wanted it cleaned or refreshed.

Wonderful
I had an upgraded room and it's was so spacious and comfortable. I also loved the beautiful old fashioned bathroom with the bathtub, I wish I had more time to enjoy some spa time in that bathroom. The room looked out onto George square but was very quiet at night.
This hotel has a bit of an oldy worldy feel which was a welcome change from all the new hotels and the location is perfect.
The breakfast was absolutely ok for British standards but wasn't presented very appealingly for me and I couldn't find the hot water for the tea until a staff member pointed it out to me.

Description of room said included bathrobes but receptionist said it didn’t we got front view or it was bathrobes after I even showed her the description. Pillows were awful and very noisy through the night so had a terrible sleepless night,and there was two large cracks in sink. We had a couple of drinks in bar but then barman wasn’t any were to be seen after we got served so not going back .

No evening meals and barman would not mix the simplest of cocktails eg: gin & tonic or negroni - ridiculous in a famous hotel

Location is brilliant and staff are very friendly and very helpful
Heater in the bathroom didn’t work so bathroom was very cold but it wouldn’t stop me staying here again

Location was primary for us. We were arriving in the afternoon by train, the touring Hampden Park and the Scottish National Football Museum, then leaving very early the next morning by Airport Express bus for a 8am international flight. The location by both train stations and the bus station was ideal. I feel the price was right for the age of the facility. I was definitely in worse spaces, paying more, on this trip - this one was priced accurately. View was nice, and will be even better once George Square is complete.

Room had everything that was needed for a comfy stay. Clean, warm. Great bathroom. Good breakfast. Lovely lobby and bar. Fab surroundings, really central.
Only decaffeinated coffee in the room, a small oversight perhaps. No USB plugs in the room or a socket next to the bed.
