Being woke up at 8am from a very noisy pneumatic drill from the building site. I had payed a higher rate for city views but unfortunately George Square is getting a makeover so not a great view

Location Ideal. Beautiful grand corridors and high ceilings.
Could do with some updating. I had to ask for a USB charger and the TV would have been innovative in 2002. Room a but stuffy.

The hotel was quiet with regard to internal noise / noise from guests - always a bonus!
My daughter left an item behind, and the staff (esp. Donna) were very helpful in getting it back to us.
Idiosyncratic light switches - the bedside light was wired in with the main light!

The rooms were nice a big.
Lovely man at reception, very polite and helpful , goes above and beyond to make sure everything is ok .
Very hot during the night.

Perfect for my stay of 1 night on route to Mallaig. Close to rail station, good restaurants and some historical buildings. Comfy bed, clean room, nice buffet breakfast was a bonis! Lovely staff.
