The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The check in was very quick and a personal service not having to check in online.
George Square statues could be restored as soon as possible and the roads reopened. The view from the room overlooked the car park at the station.

The location was good and my reason for booking an overnight stay .
It took my a while to get checked in on reception as no was was there , eventually found a bar man that said the person was up stairs and would be back soon , no attempt to assist me with my cheeky in as time was not on my side as had to cheek in and get out to meet customer's, this was not great i have to say .

The main hotel area is lovely and welcoming as is all of downstairs.
We asked for a George Square facing room and paid a little extra. No one reminded us that there is renovations going on so wakened at 8.30 with stone cutting equipment.
Our room I suppose was meant to be trendy grey but looked more like sleeping in a warship. Grey painted furniture some of the paint chipped.

Great location right in the area to get around Glasgow. Near all the places to visit or to eat and socialise
Very dated and badly in need of an upgrade in the rooms and the general areas.
And to have a fantastic Dining room that only does breakfast for me is a shame
