Disappointing
Good location, close to trains and buses
Front desk staff were rarely available and when they were they were not helpful. They also charged me for 2 rooms when I only used one

Location was primary for us. We were arriving in the afternoon by train, the touring Hampden Park and the Scottish National Football Museum, then leaving very early the next morning by Airport Express bus for a 8am international flight. The location by both train stations and the bus station was ideal. I feel the price was right for the age of the facility. I was definitely in worse spaces, paying more, on this trip - this one was priced accurately. View was nice, and will be even better once George Square is complete.

Excellent location in the heart of the Merchant city, with a great choice of restaurants and bars. Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful.

The location was right at the train station and in the middle of what we considered downtown. We were afraid it would be loud, not at all. We enjoyed easily walking around and the staff was super nice and pleasant to talk to. Very comfortable stay.

Old world, could use a little upgrade but there's something Charming about it. Elevators are a little squeaky. Right next to the train station very convenient. I would stay there again
I didn't pay for the breakfast but took a peek into the dining room and it wasn't appealing to me.

Excellent location right next door to Glasgow Queen Street Station in easy walking distance from Buchanan Street. It is an older hotel, but still comfortable. We were glad to find an osculating fan in the wardrobe as the room was warm and the windows did not open.

Central location, friendly staff
The room was completely falling apart, it was unpleasantly hot because the windows didn't open and the A/C didn't work, garbage from the last guest was still in the bin, and the sink didn't have hot water. Breakfast was terrible, as well. Just stay away.

The only positive thing about this hotel is its location, as it’s close to everything. Other than that, there’s nothing worth recommending.
The hotel was a very disappointing experience. The room was hot and uncomfortable, and instead of proper air conditioning they just gave me a fan, which only made things worse and gave me a headache. The staff were not helpful at all, and the bathroom was not clean – even the bathtub was dirty.
The heat was unbearable and really ruined the stay. For the amount paid, there should at least be proper assistance and air conditioning in the room.

Wonderful
Comfortable room in a great location. Wonderful staff, great facilities. Close to fantastic restaurants, train, bus stations and sites. We did not eat breakfast here but ate at several nearby restaurants. Many interesting sites within walking distance. We would recommend this hotel and hope to return the next time we visit Scotland. A wonderful stay.
Room was a warm at night, but we used the fan which helped a lot.

Excellent location.
No heat, no air except to open windows. Electrical system could stand and upgrade. Some outlets didn't work. The tub was nice but should come with a warning. The depth was so great that anyone our age would need help getting out safely. The toilet would have to be flushed several times before it would actually flush. The staff was good and the location was great.
