Love the location. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious.
That toilet in the single room wasn't just slow like one of the receptionists said. It was bad enough to make me wish that I had chosen another hotel.

Excellent rooms and very spacious. Very comfortable beds and a high standard of cleanliness. Excellent location adjacent to train station and right in the centre of the city. Good security control re access to the bedroom floors. Staff were helpful and welcoming.
No restaurant open. The breakfast offering is no more than adequate (scrambled 'eggs' seem to be from powder and are awash with water). The public areas are stark and in need of re-design. Generally, while the building is spacious, it looks tired and in need of re-decoration. Possibly the refurbishment of George Square has affected the hotel's offering? Very convenient location though.
