The heating did not work, they didn't get it fixed in the several days we were there although they did provide us with a small heater that barely heated the room.

We felt so welcomed by Matthew. Really the entire staff went overboard to make our stay enjoyable, and made us feel very welcomed. I travel a lot , and this group of people were the BEST that I have ever encountered. The food and service in the dining room was excellent. I would definitely stay there again. Looking forward to coming back.

Easily found on a main street just off George's Square - not too long a walk from Queen Street Station (trains) & Buchanon Street bus station. Friendly staff. Spacious room, Comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean decently sized en-suit bathroom with choice of shower or bath. Good buffet breakfast. Continental style fruits, cereals, charcuterie, & pastries. Good selection of hot cooked fare also available for those who might prefer the full *enter country here*!
Room fittings perhaps a little dated? Only one device charging point a little distant from the bed.

The hotel’s location is ideal for tourists. A very comfortable, large bed. The room is the perfect size. A clean bathroom, bed linen and fresh towels. The temperature in the hall as well as the room itself were ideal. Very friendly staff. It was great that we could leave our heavy luggage in the luggage room for a few hours.
The room was very good; you could tell it was a bit dated, but that didn’t bother us. We could hear the other guests a bit, especially those coming back after a good night out.

The excellent location - just a couple of minutes from Queen Street station, George Square and the main shopping streets; the very friendly and helpful staff; the brilliant all-you-can-eat breakfast; the cleanliness, the cosy room.
The hotel, the staff tell us, is about to undergo a huge renovation programme - not surprising as the corridors especially look dated and tired. The view from our bedroom window was uninspiring - but that was a very minor issue!

All the staff members, from front desk to upstairs (custodians usually but could be maintenance too), were so friendly, approachable, and helpful, it really made my stay that much brighter from even before I set foot in the hotel. I had a dozen online shopping packages shipped to my room a week in advance, all on different days, so that I could pick them up when I arrive in the country. They were all received and placed in my room as my travel was delayed for a day <3 I felt bad having so many parcels, but the staff were super helpful and there was no sign of complaints at all.
They went above and beyond on everything else too - I was ill and asked the facial tissues to be refilled, and they gave me extra stock for both facial and toilet paper. This is noteworthy because I've had other hotels that say they will do it, and then you come back at night and see that they didn't do what they promised.
I love that the windows can be opened. My bathroom vent was weak, and they offered to open my window for a gap to vent. That was really helpful, as I would have assumed the window cannot be opened, and it took a lot of effort on my part to pull it.
All the corners and edges in the room and bathroom were very clean. The hotel looks unassuming and the room looks typical, but I was very comfortable here, especially given that I was a bit sick, had extra travel stress, and needed extra comfort. I would definitely stay again.
The bathroom ventilation could be better. It would also be more convenient if there's a hook to hang the towel on the back of the bathroom door. But these are tiny things. I just open the door to vent and hang my towel on the chair.

Convenient location in the City Centre with car parking available (at an additional charge). Staff were helpful and friendly.
