Exceptional
We felt so welcomed by Matthew. Really the entire staff went overboard to make our stay enjoyable, and made us feel very welcomed. I travel a lot , and this group of people were the BEST that I have ever encountered. The food and service in the dining room was excellent. I would definitely stay there again. Looking forward to coming back.

Room was a good size and clean
Renovation work going on in the floor above us, we booked a nights stay for an event, said it was for leisure purpose, we were looking forward to a long lie after a late night but were woken at 7am by the works starting . If we were there for business we would have been up early anyway and it wouldn’t have been an issue. Felt a bit unfair being given a room on the floor directly below the works being carried out, we asked about breakfast we were told it wasn’t part of our booking( I hadn’t seen the option when I placed the booking) and to speak to staff in the morning, it seemed like too much hassle so we didn’t bother and went elsewhere after we checked out.

Breakfast was nice but no jam
The hotel was under construction. The whole of the glass sitting area, which is what attracted me to the hotel, was closed off and covered in windolene. The reception was a rickety makeshift table and looked awful as an entrance. I booked the hotel for my friends 60th birthday stay over and was embarrassed by the state of it. It should have been closed while those renovations were underway. I’d be grateful for a refund of 50% as this should have been advised and I would have cancelled. Room was also a bit tired with burnt iron mark on the carpet. Please confirm thanks

Easily found on a main street just off George's Square - not too long a walk from Queen Street Station (trains) & Buchanon Street bus station. Friendly staff. Spacious room, Comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean decently sized en-suit bathroom with choice of shower or bath. Good buffet breakfast. Continental style fruits, cereals, charcuterie, & pastries. Good selection of hot cooked fare also available for those who might prefer the full *enter country here*!
Room fittings perhaps a little dated? Only one device charging point a little distant from the bed.

Cleanliness of the room could definitely be better, skirting boards were dirty, wallpaper peeling, bathroom had seen better days (mould in shower). Generally just shabby
