Convenient location in the City Centre with car parking available (at an additional charge). Staff were helpful and friendly.
The room was very expensive for quite basic accommodation, rooms were small and very tired.

Easy walking distance from Queen Street train station and #500 airport bus drop-off and pick up ( St. Vincent Place).
Excellent buffet breakfast with choice of cooked eggs.
Deep bathtub.
Central downtown location.
Small room.
No iron/ironing board in room.
No air conditioning but Housekeeping provided fan on request.

The room was claustrophobic, it was hard to manage with 2 suitcases because there was no room to open them. On arrival the guy that checked us in was really short tempered and not welcoming. This is the only hotel on our trip thus far where we were treated as though someone is doing us a favor in checking us in.

Perfect location for a short stay. Joy and Mathew were super friendly.
The room is a bit small but good enough if you are just going to use the room for a quick shower and sleep, and you'll be spending most of the day outside.

location and Staff
Breakfast was very limited and plain - was expecting more. the carpets in the room was filthy and the room extremely small- I complained and was given another room. Not what I was expecting from the Mercure.
