Friendly, helpful staff; Incredible breakfast. Nice rooms. Great location. Easy check-in.
Can't think of anything except maybe better lighting in room.

Very Good
Room was beautiful with large bed.
Carpet a little dated and bathroom could do with updating a little. Overall very comfortable and pleasant stay
It felt quite dim and dark - difficult to find a spot throughout the hotel with good lighting

Wonderful
The Malmaison was a lovely, comfortable hotel with all the amenities and was close to a number of restaurants.
It was a bit further from the train station than I'd calculated.

Very Poor
Clean .
The staff in charge of transporting the luggage are excellent, friendly and very helpful, but the reception staff are catastrophically negligent. I booked three rooms and paid for them three days before check-in, but they gave me two rooms and upon departure they deducted the price of one night from the third room with a promise of a free night (which is ridiculous and an evasion of responsibility in an attempt to place the blame on me) despite not giving me the key or registering me in it. A very bad experience due to the unprofessionalism of the reception staff and also the hotel manager who dealt with the matter extremely badly. An experience I will never repeat in this miserable hotel.

Disappointing Experience – Lacking the Usual Malmaison Standard
We stayed on a Thursday evening (Steak Night) and, unfortunately, the overall experience felt below expectations for a Malmaison property. The hotel itself feels tired and in need of some attention. The restaurant had a noticeable damp smell, which set a poor tone from the start.
Despite only a few tables occupied (3 during our visit), they had already run out of fillet steak by 7:30pm, and our dessert of choice was also unavailable. It’s hard to understand how this happens so early in the evening with such low footfall.
To add to the disappointment, the draught beer selection was extremely limited—just one IPA and one lager. For a brand like Malmaison, we expected a better offering and overall experience.

From the moment we arrived, the ladies running the desk made us feel right at home... recommended a bakery and advised us on walking around Glasgow.
First class service and accommodations.

Everything was amazing! Staff were nice and helpful, room was quiet and comfortable and came with so many things I wasn't expecting coffee machine, mini bar etc
The bath was so deep and you could control the water temperature to be perfect.

Good
Front desk and bar tender were welcoming. Bed comfortable.
Great clear instructions about how to get from airport.
Appalling room layout. Bath very difficult to exit safely because of v long glass curtain and no rail to steady exit on. Bathroom badly laid out.
We were upgraded (unsolicited because room we had booked was double booked). The suite on level 5 was 2 floors. Upstairs was bed and coffee making things & hairdryer. Downstairs was bathroom (where you use the hairdryer and get water for the kettle)!! Poorly configured.

Disappointing
we didn't get a chance to enjoy the bar/restaurant, but it looked cool.
The toilet in the room was dirty (outside edge)
2 of six USB charging sockets in the room (259) didn't work.
Bed seemed a bit depressed in the middle.
Window view to a 2 ft wide alley.

Good
Great location, nicely building and rooms, great staff.
No temperature control in the room and it was hot. Poor light control (street light shine over the top of the curtains) and I was woken up to the sound of my neighbor watching TV and was able to hear it pretty clearly.

Wonderful
Central location, own restaurant, nice decor and very clean.
I thought the chicken dish I had for dinner was not very impressive for the price, but the wine was delicious.
