The staff in the main were friendly, couple of unapproachable team members (which would make me think there’s a lack of brand awareness, understanding core values etc,) but the ones that were on point made it up for the rest.
There was an external refurbishment ongoing at the time - no issues with this at all, necessary works are understandable. We wasn’t made aware - which might have had an impact on our decision making. Also, the restaurant (which we used a lot,) was VERY dark - to a point whereby we couldn’t read the menus! *Laughing Face*

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room has all the basics you would expect like iron, ironing board, tea and coffee facilities. Bed was comfy.
The room was small with a grey decor which made it feel very dowdy. This was made worse by the window view looking out over an external wall and roof. The shower only had one setting, boiling hot and small things like the hair dryer nozzle was from a different nozzle, where not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel.
