Absolutely, almost everything
The creaky floorboards in that room are absolutely beyond words, and it is the only issue I could possibly pick up regarding my stay - otherwise absolutely 100% perfect.

The room was lovely, pillows and bed were so comfortable. I ordered some food via room service and even though it was really busy being near Christmas, the food was with me in no time and was beautiful. All staff I dealt with were very accommodating and easy to deal with.

Friendly staff. Spacious room. Room was a comfortable temperature and beds were very comfy
There were two of us staying in a twin room but we received one hand towel and one bath towel which seemed odd.
There was zero soundproofing- there was a connecting door from our room that offered no soundproofing at all- we could hear every word the couple next door said, as well as every ‘noise’ as they very much enjoyed themselves…ALL night. Whilst this was not the hotels fault if there had been even any degree of soundproofing at all this could be very much improved.

Stayed in the signature suite and the room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Our server fir Dinner was superb cery friendly and attentive.
The signature suite has a large lounge area that's not very well decorated (did not feel luxurious at all for the money paid) and the sofa looks like you could catch something from it. Its actually a disgrace. So worn out and stains on it. The management team should be embarrassed that its in their signature suite. So disappointing as overall it does not feel luxurious. Room cleanliness was ok. Just not what you expect from a malmaison.

The hotel was central and decorated as you expect it to be. Bar was lovely as were the staff.
Our room smelt so bad of paint we had to leave the hotel as they didn’t have another room. They initially aired it out and sprayed air freshener but that made it worse.

Breakfast was great
Room was fine, however a couple of points that would have improved it;
- Head board reduced the size of the bed, if the bed was spaced off the wall by 100mm it would have a been set correctly. as it is the bed is 100mm too short. my feet hung out of the bed
- fix the bathroom extractor fan. it does not work
- windows are screwed shut?

When booking the hotel I had asked for a quiet room. I was told that I would get a room away from the lifts. When I got there I ended up getting a room beside the lift and then had 2 nights of xmas parties. My room was right above where the party was and the music was vibrating off the walls. When I booked the hotel it would have been nice for them to tell me that there was parties booked in and that also wouldnt be able to get dinner. I had to go out and get dinner. Not somewhere I would be choosing to stay again.
