Its looking a bit tired. dirty light fittings, peeling wallpaper.
Cocktails were only average and one member of bar staff very grumpy ... think he thought he was a lot cooler than he was!

the hotel seemed pleasant and reasonably good value, but the room was disappointing. Cleanliness could have been better, and it was extremely warm, with only a fan provided. And unfortunately, the way an incident was handled later that evening completely overshadowed the stay. Within about ten minutes of returning to my room, a staff member said there'd been a noise complaint, which was surprising, given how brief and quiet our arrival was. When I queried this, the reason shifted to there being three people in the room, although two family members were only waiting briefly for a taxi. And the situation then escalated quickly, and the police were... called, despite there being an opportunity to resolve matters calmly. I recorded the interaction, and CCTV should also confirm timings. Given the circumstances... I was left very concerned and uncomfortable with how things were handled.
The way an incident was handled later that evening completely overshadowed my stay. I returned to the hotel with two family members who were only coming into my room briefly while waiting for their taxi. Within approximately ten minutes of our arrival, a member of staff came to the room stating that there had been a noise complaint. This was extremely surprising as we had simply been talking normally and had only just arrived. When I questioned how a noise complaint could have been made so quickly, the issue then changed to the fact that there were three people in the room, despite my explaining that my family members were not staying overnight and were only waiting for their taxi. We were then told they had to wait in the lobby. The situation escalated very quickly and the police were contacted, despite there being an opportunity to resolve the matter calmly. I found the whole interaction disproportionate, uncomfortable and upsetting. I recorded the interaction, and the hotel's CCTV should also confirm our arrival time and how short a period we had actually been in the room. Given the circumstances and the way we were treated, I was left with serious concerns about why the situation escalated in the way that it did.

Comfy bed and appreciated having a bath as well as shower.
Being a victim of dynamic pricing! £359.10 was a ridiculous amount of money to have to pay for a very ordinary room on a Wednesday night. The room was way to hot (with no air condioning!) and located on an extremely noisy corridor (partly due to a packed function beneath us I think) - suffice to say, neither of us got much sleep and are now exhausted after the event that we hosted in Exchange Square. I even requested earplugs from reception and was advised that none were available!

Location and friendly staff
No air conditioning in the room. There was a fan provided but it was so noisy we were unable to sleep. The decor in the room needs updating as it looks slightly shabby. The bathroom didn’t look clean in places.

The location was amazing and so peaceful, however I unfortunately didn’t realise it was a pet friendly place and understand that we all have to accommodate each other’s preferences.
The fact that it was a pet friendly place, but again myself it an allergic thing.
