The room itself (bed, size, location, light) were amazing and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is very central (15 min walk from Queen Street train station) and the area to walk around is very nice. It is still in the city centre, but not in a crazy-packed area, but rather calmed. The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious (aaaaaand a lot of food... you get to choose a warm meal and a "cold" one (like a continental bar with fruit and cereals, but also a good porridge). The bar in the hotel is very cool and in general the vibe of the whole hotel is very nice!
There were some minor details that I was a bit surprised. In the shower, the bottles for shampoo/body wash were damaged and didn't work. Water in the shower has only two modes: Cold or Dracarys :P
These are really minor things and I would go back to this place anytime. However, considering the price you pay, these details were a bit surprising, but no actual reason to say the place was not good.

My wife and I loved every single thing about malmaison, we have stayed in most hotels in Glasgow city centre and this was by far the best experience to date. The girl Skye who works front desk has exceptional customer service skills, friendly, professional and also offered recommendations. Due to it being my birthday we were upgraded to a suite!!!! This was absolutely beautiful and they really do take care of there guests. Another man at front desk who was very friendly and helpful either Spanish or Italian didn't get his name but was excellent aswell

The staff were excellent! My daughter and I stayed 1 night for a concert (k-pop) shes only 7. What an experience they made it for my baby girl. She had an elephant towel, sweeties, a little card and a voucher for a mocktail. Can not thank yous enough. She loved the hotel more than the concert i think

Reception staff. Polite, friendly, happy to answer any of our questions. Our evening meal was delicious. Breakfast was good good.
Restaurant staff telling us to much about there life.
At breakfast time a member of staff cleared some plates from the table, while were still eating. Never spoke, no good morning. It cost nothing to be polite.
