The property was okThe separate bar and restaurant were gorgeous
The location is nice. With lovely views. The separate bar and restaurant are the main attractions pity there not actually part of the hotel. Hotel staff not very pleasant or attentive gentlemen in the bar was really nice. And chatted away.

The location
The WIFI constantly cut out. I would expect t good wifi in a 4 star hotel in 2026
The breakfast was not stocked well I waited for 10 mins till everything was filled up

It’s a good location, far from the crowds of Glasgow.
This isn’t a “nice” as it may seem in the listing. Whilst the “Country Club” is all very grand, the “hotel” is actually a bit of an add-on. You can’t park outside it (except for the anti-social ***s who choose to park overnight in the “drop off” space), and it’s little more than a glorified Travelodge, really. No lounge or bar area, nothing but a room.

Room was lovely and clean, well presented. The staff were friendly, food was excellent.
The only thing that could be improved was the temperature of the breakfast buffet, it was delicious but not very warm.

Lovely hotel, nice bar and restaurant. Lovely setting and nice walk around the stables and lodges.
The televisions in the rooms need upgraded. No Netflix or any other options just very basic channels.
