The function suites are beautiful . The reception staff were very friendly. The breakfast staff were helpful.
Staff in all, were a credit.
The hotel rooms are quite basic for the price . We only had one hand towel. The lamps were dusty. We had to ask for more milk & tea. There was no bar in the hotel , as it was a wet & windy night we didn’t want to walk to the restaurant twice getting wet. Room service was an option but only one chair or sit on the bed

Staff were friendly & helpful. Good selection at breakfast (though would benefit from covers in hot food during non-peak times), grounds & view were lovely.
Noise through walls & ceiling in room was loud - poor insulation meant could hear a lot of conversation at what seemed like normal conversation level was audible. Feels like the spa area could be better used if not only on a pre-book system (aka available for all included unless room has booked privately).

Junior Suite was spacious, Jacuzzi bath was very welcome. Facilities were good, Food in the resturant was excellent.
Bulbs missing in lighting, Nail varnish marks on bath, door handles and stains in carpet. No fridge! Bathroom marble shelf not fixed down, Dangerous! Rwalplug holes in bathroom wall

The bed was comfy and the shower was wonderful for achy muscles.
Breakfast (specifically bacon) was over cooked, coffee machine is overly complicated. For a high class establishment the breakfast condiments were terrible, basic jam and honey in plastic pots.....not a quality I would expect for this country club.
Only 1 disabled parking space by the hotel entrance which was occupied. There should be more and a clearly signposted option for drop off instead of no access!

Beautiful setting, friendly, helpful Reception staff and a clean room with all facilities needed - I appreciated the biscuits! The restaurant was very good, with very friendly, efficient staff.
Friends were staying on the adjacent motorhome park so we were able to meet up for a meal. We were all very impressed with the views and facilities on site.
The walls were very thin between the rooms. My only criticism was being able to hear the couple next door talking to each other.

Very convenient location with lots of space to park. The whole site is very well maintained and attractive. The hotel has been built to a good standard and was very clean. The room was a good size and everything worked correctly. The staff were friendly and professional and seemed to keen to make sure that we were well looked after.

Our recent stay at the hotel was exceptional. It served as the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. A special mention to the staff for going above and beyond by decorating our room for my wife’s birthday — she was pleasantly surprised and truly delighted. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended.

The food in palominos was excellent.
The lodge was a bit dated, couch uncomfortable as were the beds. The hot tub was warm and clean but had no outlook.

We had a comfortable room with a good size shower. We liked the coffee maker in the room but would have benefitted from instructions on how to use it.
We were glad to be able to get takeaway food from the restaurant after a long drive,however the food was okay but nothing particularly special. Staff in the restaurant needed prompting to provide things like cutlery.
