Excellent staff and breakfast, adjacent restaurant was of high quality. The equine training and schooling added extra interest, and we were able to keep our two dogs in our car next to the hotel.

Beautiful place cannot say anything negative we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the restaurant and beautiful grounds.
The pillows need to be thicker but struggled to find anything to complain about.

Great hotel and wonderful restaurant.
No lounge for hotel guests. Makes it difficult for family and friends to visit us at the hotel. Or just to go somewhere to relax that isn't our hotel room. There's the deck area but the weather in Scotland rules this out.

I love everything about this place as there has never been any problems. The restaurant, staff and the bedroom and lodges are fantastic.

Outstanding room. Quiet, no traffic, bright airy feel overlooking a horse exercise paddock and lake. Quite a surprise.
Breakfast was good but as always with a buffet breakfast, Luke warm.

The club is in rural surrounds yet close for the likes of Glasgow
It caters for hotel guests both in the hotel and in cabins plus has parking for motor homes
It also stables a lot of horses and looks after them
The restaurant and bar is in a separate building close to the hotel itself
The menu in the restaurant is good as is the surrounds and ambience
Food was good value and delicious
The bedroom we stayed in was comfortable and clean and spacious
The only slight issue with the bedroom was it was on the ground floor by a path so people walk past
