Calm and serine environment great weekend retreat.
Was supposed to be self catering lodge so we expected cooking facilities particularly a hob but unfortunately it was only a microwave we had . Disappointing as we brought food to cook and enjoy some privacy but had to get red of the food as there’s no cooker . I would have rated a lot better had we got what we expected .

Plenty parking Very good pub/ restaurant Very clean room and hotel. Special thank you to the housemaid who found my wallet and the receptionist for phoning me.
The room walls were too thin. We could hear every word spoken by the couple of ladies next door. They weren't particularly loud.

Stayed in the hotel beautiful ,breakfast was delicious definitely recommend and will be back soon
That booking .com states that its dog friendly when in fact there’s no dogs allowed in the hotel only the lodges we booked hotel thinking we could take dog then had to find someone to look after our dog at the last minute

We did the stable tour which was lovely. The horses are friendly and beautiful. The room, the junior suite, was very nice.
I love this place, I've stayed here a few times, but I wish they took better care of it.
