Lodges are fantastic, spacious,warm and clean
Dinner payment was a bit strained, as the staff didn't bring the card machine to us, instead, they took the cash component of the payment out of our sight to count it. This caused alarm, confusion and disappointment, and puts both the staff and customers at risk if any cash is dropped or lost during the out of sight process. It killed the jolly atmosphere.
For the avoidance of doubt, I would recommend always bringing the card machine to the table first and taking the part payments first. Then confirming the cash count at the table so everyone can see and agree the whole remainder of the transaction.

The location and the setup. Has everything you need and the hot tub is fab
Although it has greta facilities, the shower rooms could do with updating as they are definitely showing signs of age

Spotless clean staff very contented room was amazing only downside I would say walking from main reception to restaurant preferably a walkway covered as I was disabled and got a bit wet but everything else was amazing restaurant was superb xxxx
