The location and grounds were lovely. The lodge was comfortable.
We booked the luxury 2 bed lodge, the bathroom was not luxury, the shower had little water pressure so not powerful at all, the grout between the tiles was discoloured and looked dirty, there was only 1 hand towel in the bathroom so no towel to dry my hair on. The kitchen was nice but a minimum of crockery and cutlery was available, no bread knife at all. The telephone did not work. The information booklet was in the bottom drawer of the kitchen, so we had to search in all the cupboards to find it. Didn't feel it was worth the money for our 2 night stay.

The room was lovely and the check in was very smooth. There was lots to see on sight and the restaurant and bar were very comfortable. Staff were all friendly and attentive.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like and will definitely return to the hotel again.

I was at tye one Clyde function with my work colleagues and decided to stay overnight rather that go all the way back to Arrochar, So my husband met me after the event and we had a ovely evening and a good breakfast in the morning .

Went to a wedding at the complex in the Salerno Suite which was really lovely and staff were great. Wedding experience was fabulous.
However the hotel itself seems very outdated and tatty, in need of some loving care and attention. Room was no better than a 3 star hotel. Reception staff were friendly though.
Breakfast was very poor indeed given the hotels rating. Very limited choice. Breakfast service staff not very warm and welcoming.
I would definitely not return to stay again given the price point. I expected far more for the cost.

Hotel is located in a beautiful location, offers a lovely garden and a view of grazing horses. Very kind staff at the reception, who helped us order a taxi. Amazing breakfast.
