Disappointing
The room was clean, hot water worked and so did the air con
We were given an “internal room” apparently, which meant we basically had no sunlight the entire time we were there, it was pitch black at the window, was pretty depressing. Asked to change rooms and were told it was fully booked, maybe it was but our next door room was empty and had a proper window! I wouldn’t have paid so much if I knew the room was a box. I guess if youre reading this and want to have a nice room with natural light, ring beforehand to ask for one.

My room had a window but I couldn’t see out also it didn’t open. Wouldn’t stop me staying again though.

Location - convenient between the 2 train stations we used.
Breakfast was not very good. Worst of any we had in our 3 weeks in the UK. Dry, cold scrambled eggs, cold bacon, little variety.

The free drink for opting not to have housekeeping come for the day was a really nice surprise at the end of the day. The staff were always very helpful and kind, and it was a very nice, hassle-free stay.

Easy access from the station and central for getting around Glasgow
I was unhappy with the room as it had a frosted window due to outside work. However I did ask for a move, was told there wasn't anything immediately available but hopefully we'd get moved. Nothing further from reception. I should have pushed it. Breakfast the first morning found croissants and pastries burnt but still put out for people to eat. Dishes not replenished and both coffee machines out of order.
