Poor
hotel itself and location very good, but let down by the Tuesday night managers intransigence, where I felt I was discriminated against, see below.
On Tuesday night I left a noisy pub where I was watching world cup football hoping to catch the concluding minutes at the hotel 24 hour bar. They told me no and to go and watch it next door. I said I wanted to see it here in a quiet space and did not want to go out again. No, they said. Never mind I'll watch it in my room. Channel was not available. Next night I wanted to finish with a quiet drink in the 24 hour bar but was told the bar was shut until 1 a.m. I felt I was singled out for
for (quietly) expressing my dissatisfaction. This badly spoilt my expectation of a relaxed end to days conclusion.

Very Good
The staff on the desk, both when we arrived and when we left, were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite small but pleasant--it had a kettle and coffee and tea bags which were all appreciated. The bed was comfortable. We also liked the location.

Pleasant
Good location.
We had to change rooms after the first night. We were beside a storage room and at 6:30 am someone was banging the laundry carts against the wall of our room. But Loredana was excellent in getting us a new room right away. The beds are hard and uncomfortable.

Very Good
Walkable location to shops, food, venues, bus, train, and subway.
Nothing, though they should report to major apps to update the location access. Several services took taxis and Just Eat bikers to the wrong place.

We were surprised the hotel location just near the trains station that we did not need any transportation to reach out just walk a little, fantastic ! And the room was beyond my expectations, very comfortable and equipped with the necessary facilities. Definetly will visit again when in Manchester.

Very Good
beds were very comfortable. Bathroom worked really well.
Everything was great..........BUT the taxi that the front desk organised for our return to the airport charged us £40 for a 15 minute trip. I thought he was joking! Compared with Glasgow Cars and other taxis we had taken over the 2 days - we were with a very immobile elderly friend - this firm felt like a rip-off and I would definitely not want to travel with them again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was great. Breakfast delicious. Immaculate and comfortable hotel.
Its much further out of town than I thought. Bit of a walk but thats just me maybe. Single beds are very narrow... sufficient to our needs but narrow
