Exceptionally nice and friendly staff. Breakfast and coffee was very good. Loved the special ironing room.
A minor point, I missed having hand towels in addition to the large bath towels. Very limited selection of TV channels.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy.
I went to get a drink from the bar. The lad who served me clearly had additional needs. He was really nice and was doing his best. Another customer had a tantrum at the lack of sliced lemon behind the bar, which was embarrassing to witness. What was awful was when another female worker was really rude and impatient with the male worker. I asked him directly if she always treats him like this in front of customers. She spoke about the lad as though he wasn't there. I said I'd be making a complaint about her as she'd made me feel embarrassed and awkward, and is she serious treating a colleague like that in front of me.
This was horrible to experience. Somebody needs to have a serious word with her about compassion, respect, equality and customer service. To be fair, I'd expect to get sacked if I treated a vulnerable colleague like that in front of people.
I'm close to taking this to social media. I won't be back to an Ibis.

We didn’t have breakfast as we had to be at the train station very early.
Room could have been a little bit bigger and the one beds mattress was not fitted onto the base of the bed. But although the bed was a little hard it was comfy and so were the pillows.

the price of the hotel for what u get is amazing this was our second time staying and we enjoyed it as much as the first the staff was so lovely, there was a woman i never caught her name that worked there we had a great laugh with her! will 100% be back!
