Nice hotel with nice staff. The rooms were pretty small, but I know that they're like that in this kind of hotel. We ended up renting another room, and the staff was super helpful during that process.
Nice breakfast and not expensive at all.

I like that it was central, and there were lots of places to eat nearby
The property didn’t seem the cleanest. The upkeep didn’t seem that great. We didn’t have any towels in our room.

Stayed many times at this Ibis - no problems. This time my room no 621- I was awoken at @630am due to the noise of vents from outside. Not a good sleep.

the staff offered a second room to us to resolve an issue we had on night one and when asked by me if the room was on the house the staff said they would make sure it was. Upon check out the next day we were charged with that room. Management did nothing in response and simply said it was against company policy to offer free rooms. If it’s against company policy then maybe you should train your staff to not say such things. Everyone makes mistakes but to not own it and then make the customer pay for it is very poor customer service. Far from the striving for superior customer service they claim in response to these reviews. I guess budget customer service is to be expected from a budget hotel.
Happy to note that the rest of the tours and restaurants we visited in Glasgow provided exceptional customer service just not this place. Stay at your own risk.
