Great breakfast and attentative staff. Since the coffee machine in my room didn't work I was allowed to ask for coffee or tea any time at the bar or via room service.

Very nice staff, very clean.
The hotel had no personality. It could have been a hotel in any major city. Good for business travel but not if one wants something special.The lighting in the room was terrible. It was impossible to read even during the daytime with the lights on. For a 4 star hotel, small amenities , like shower caps and toss-away slippers, would have been expected. We received these at small and less expensive accommodations.

Hello, I already posted a review about this Hotel but wanted to respond to the answer they posted on Booking . Com. It was a typical off the shelf answer with no courtesy to my concern. First of all the staff, Mark , Ngan , Masha saw me every single day, 2 times a day sometimes 3 , going to get food and enquiring about extending my stay. I was obviously Alive. Plus the room was serviced on Saturday , middle of my stay., with the Do not Disturb sign taken off the door. Do the Hotel Manager and Houskeeping Manager not talk to their Front Desk or Houskeeping staff?? Instead of disrupting my morning with knocking on the door to see if I’m alive? I was obviously alive the night before. Your system is flawed and lacks personal responsibility.
Do not give me a perfunctory answer and instead fix you Hotel Policy. I will never stay with you again and you have lost a return customer.

Hello, I’m unfortunately staying at the property one more night as I already paid for it. The 2 staff at the front desk Ngan and Mark have been great.
Do not stay here unless you want to be Inspected. I stayed here in early December and I liked everything hence my return. But this morning soured me as “Security “knocked on my door ( despite the No Disturb sign. ) to apparently check if I was alive???
It was very annoying as I am grieving, in the midst of prayer , for the Loss of my Mother. They also wanted to inspect the room and I didn’t even think to ask them for identification. I’m 67 yrs old with nothing to hide and still have no idea for this intrusion???
It has changed my whole opinion of the establishment and I will not stay here again.

Great location and beautiful facade, comfy beds, powerful shower, and lots of choice at breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
A little dated and tired the decor, more should be made of the history of the building (first electricity station supplying Glasgow)

Very clean facilities and the room is gorgeous. One of the best place we stayed at in Scotland! Very close by restaurants and the reception (Ivana) is very friendly. She recommended many local restaurants and even recommended so much places to visit in Scotland! My boyfriend and I are driving through the whole country and her recommendations helped us plan our trip better?. The breakfast is exceptional as well. Perfect for before we hike Conic Hill! 100% would recommend. There are no hotel parking but there is a parking building beside it and the hotel will give you a discount if you give them your parking ticket. 100% recommended!

Big room with huge comfortable bed. Easy check in and overall good experience in the hotel. We arrived late (after 9pm) and left early in the morning, but we had no complains during our stay. The breakfast a la carte with buffet area was great with phenomenal service.
We had an early bus the morning after our stay - we tried to contact the hotel a couple of times on the days prior to our arrival to find out about breakfast hours. We managed to have a quick breakfast before leaving, but we only found out about the hours after our arrival.

My husband and I have stayed here quite a lot, it's a great location, very good rooms, excellent service.
The waiting staff for breakfast didn't know what they were doing, wrong orders, missing items, walking from table to table with dishes from other tables, not good skills at all!!!

Absolutely loved my recent six-night stay, thanks to the warm hospitality of Ivana at the front desk, who made everything so comfortable and fun. She also gave the most amazing recs of things to do in Glasgow, which I truly appreciated. I also really enjoyed the breakfasts. Calvin at the bar was very helpful and friendly too. Overall, a wonderful hotel in Glasgow!
