Our second room was great; very clean, comfy king size bed, thirsty towels, two big windows, tasty coffee. Reception staff was very helpful in addressing problems with our first room and reassigning us. Also, elevators are cordoned off from rooms by separate doors which greatly reduced noise from that area.
These problems were all addressed quickly when we brought them to reception's attention, however.... First room: mattress was upside down so cushioned side was improperly underneath and springs/coils were on top (this was apparently done to hide a large brown stain approximately 15 inches diameter), also leash to prevent window opening more than a few inches was broken and our window opened fully on fourth floor but maintenance repaired this immediately, also the floor was broken underneath the carpeting and creaked loudly.

The location of this hotel is very accessible from Glasgow central station. Hotel interior and the club room we had booked was beautiful and clean. It also had many windows to look out at the city.
I think the hotel pillows could be to a better standard, these seemed abit used and lumpy. Lighting in room could have been better, although there were many lights they were dull.

Hotel was close to Central station
Inattentive staff, no breakfast available for 3 days as no chef apparently( despite paying for breakfast) no dinner available for multiple evenings and then resumed with a very limited menu.
Staff regularly not at reception desk.
Expensive hotel which didn't deliver any quality.

Hotel is in a good location, staff are all lovely and very helpful. Excellent shower, very comfortable beds, will stay again.
Breakfast was very good with a good menu offering freshly cooked hot choices, however, I think the buffet needs a little more attention, it was adequate and all the food offered was very nice but not replenished often enough which limited choices.
