Very Good
The room was very spacious and the location was great
The breakfast did not have any hot cooked food, which is a great minus point

Very Good
I like the comfortable bed and central location. Always nice to walk along the river in Glasgow. The staff is welcoming and attentive.
The refrigerator wasn’t working, but they did give me a bucket of ice to assist. The mirror in the bathroom had a broken light.

Wonderful
The staff were so helpful & the room was lovely & comfortable
The shower tray could have done with a dry cloth to take away a few marks, the shower mat had something on it & dust on the toilet paper holder. My earring fell out & when looking for it i found a sliver of glass on the carpet. My hairdryer wasn't working but reception quickly sent up a replacement

Disappointing
It was handy for the station
The beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, there wasn't enough toilet paper and I have up asking for more and never getting it so I had to buy my own.
On the Friday we were locked out for a half hour as there was noone on the 24 hour reaction and the front door was locked.
Despite paying for breakfast we went down on the Saturday morning to be told that breakfast "wasn't on today" and not given an alternative.
The food in the restaurant when we did get some was clearly microwaved Weatherspoons quality food and ridiculously inflated prices.
It was almost impossible to speak to the staff as very few of them could speak English well enough to understand a Scottish accent, and they were mostly very young teenagers so they didn't care.
It says everything that when we finally gave up and checked out early that the only thing the man on the reception desk said to me was "well you won't be getting a refund."

Wonderful
Comfortable well appointed hotel close to city centre but still a very quiet location. Friendly and helpful staff.
The Scottish breakfast. Too many hotels skimp on the quality of ingredients. A good Scottish breakfast is a thing of wonder, if you can ignore the potential health implications. A good selection of other options was available and quite acceptable. Beds were a little soft for our preference.

Wonderful
Breakfast staff were lovely but the Hollaindaise sauce was bland on the Eggs Benedict.
All good. Great staff, but room service after I'd been there 15 minutes and lay in bed had a constant knocking at the door, despite Do Not Disturb on the door and when I finally got up and dressed and got to the LOCKED door they used their 'all entry' pass to get in. There was clearly a miscommunication as they said the room was dirty but I assured them it was nothing to do with me. Please do not reprimand them as they were very nice and apologetic but this coul be a BIG issue should I have been a single female with a male room attendant. Otherwise, a lovely stay and they were VERY nice, just told the wrong info but still - do not use tht key with a Do Not Disturb sign on the handle.
