Hotel is well located. Bedroom good size and squeaky clean.
The public areas were on the chilly side. Bedroom a good size but the lighting was far too dark.

Good central location. Breakfast was nice.
The room was quite dusty, and not spotlessly clean in places. Eg there was a dirty grimy mark on my bedside table, a layer of dust over the coffee/tea tray in the room and an old contact lense on the bathroom floor.

The welcome when we booked in was exceptional. The member of staff on reception could not have been more welcoming or obliging. She was genuinely interested in our visit to Glasgow and shared her own experiences of living in the city. A credit to the hotel.
The pillows! I have an issue with hotel pillows, with them either being too flat, too soft or too small. The pillows were small , square and flat. I am being picky but to get a decent night's sleep, I need a decent pillow.

Convenient location for city centre.
Black mould in bathroom; chipped mugs; broken toilet seat; two towel sets for four people; air con broken. Nice guy on reception, but sloppy - wearing jeans, open neck work shirt etc.

The room was amazing. Staff friendly.
Breakfast was poor. We waited 20 minutes after ordering. My poached eggs came as fried eggs and were rubbery and the bacon was very fatty and the muffin was cold. My husband ordered the full breakfast but a few items were missing. We were also sat outside the dining room and it was very cold.

Friendly staff , variety of breakfast and location of hotel.
Space in room, limited options of beer in bar, could have made a dedicated space for smoking.

It is in a really good location. The railway station is very close and, if travelling by car, there is a car park next door which is discounted for residents.
The breakfast caters for all tastes. Obviously a full Scottish breakfast but lots of other ‘hot’ breakfasts. The cold buffet featured cheeses, cold meats and smoked salmon - thé later being particularly delicious. There is a very good selection of cereals and fruit plus pastries. Also thé breakfast staff, a particular mention to Sophie here, were very attentive.
I will definitely stay here again.
I couldn’t find anything not to like at this hotel.
